Gorillas Tour in Rwanda

Our safari driver will meet you on arrival at Kanombe International Airport and drive you to Ruhengeri. Dinner and overnight at Mountain Gorilla view lodge/ Muhabura hotel.

After breakfast report to the Ruhengeri park headquarters as early as 7:00am. After a short drill as regards your expected gorilla tracking conduct is concerned, you will enter the rain forest in search of the mountain gorillas. It is advisable to carry along with you a packed lunch, energy bite, mineral water on this expedition because sometimes tracking can last very long from 1 -6 hours depending on the movement of the gorillas. On locating the gorillas, the experience is so exhilarating and will be well worth the trouble. Spend a maximum of one hour with the gorillas then return to your lodge. Dinner and overnight at Mountain Gorilla view lodge/ Muhabura hotel.

After breakfast today go gorilla tracking this time visiting a different family (subject to payment of supplement at time of booking). Alternatively you can visit the golden monkeys or drive to Lake Kivu, hike the Bisoke/Muhavura volcanoes, or trek to Dian Fossey's grave, or visit the beautiful lakes of Bulera and Ruhondo. Dinner and overnight at Mountain Gorilla view lodge/ Muhabura hotel.

After breakfast drive to Kigali and if time allows have a city tour visiting the genocide memorial. After lunch transfer to the airport to board your home flight.
