Day wise Itinerary

Day 1

Srinagar

Dal Lake

Meet upon arrival and transfer to Deluxe Houseboats. Leave for Mughal Gardens visiting Nishat Bagh (Abode of pleasure) built by Asif Khan brother in law of Jehangir in 1632 AD. And Shalimar Bagh (Abode of love) built by Jehangir for his wife Empress Noor Jehan. All the gardens are situated on the bank of Dal Lake with the Zabarwan Mountains in the background. The distance from Srinagar to the said gardens is about 12 and 15 kms respectively. Enroute visit carpet-weaving factory. Dinner overnight in Deluxe Houseboats.

Day 2

Srinagar – Sonmarg – Baltal 106 Kms.

Leave early morning and start drive to Sonmarg which is the most beautiful drive from Srinagar. On the way we stop at many beautiful spots. Continue drive to Sonmarg 2690 Mtrs (Meadow of Gold). One can ride on horse to visit to Thajiwas Glacier where snow remains round the year and Sonmarg is known as Gateway of Ladakh. In the evening return to Hotel / Cottages. Over night at Hotel / Cottages in baltal / sonmarg.

Day 3

Baltal – Amarnath – Baltal 32 Kms Return

Leave early morning for Amarnath darshan by foot or by pony’s. And return back in the evening. Over night at tents OR HOTEL.

Day 4

Baltal – Sonmarg – Srinagar (106 Kms drive)

Leave early morning for Srinagar and check in Houseboat. Dinner overnight in Deluxe Houseboats.

Transfer in time to the airport to connect onwards destination flight.
