Day wise Itinerary

Day 1

Guwahati - Bomdila

Pick up from Guwahati, drive towards Bomdila via Kalaktang. Enjoy the scenic beauty of Shergaon on the way. Reach Bomdila by evening. Visit the Bomdila Monastery. Night stay in Bomdila.
Hotel : Do e Gukhil Monastery guest house.

Activities : Sightseeing
Day 2

Tawang

Post breakfast, drive towards Tawang. Stop at Sela pass (13,700 ft) for sightseeing. Visit Jaswant Garh war memorial. Go to Jung falls(100 meters high) on the way. Reach Tawang by evening. Night stay in Tawang. Visit Tawang war memorial in evening for the light and sound show. Night stay in Tawang.
Hotel : Dondrup homestay or similar.

Day 3

Tawang

Visit Bumla pass(15,200 ft) Indo-China border and then go to visit the very scenic, earthquake originated Sangetsar lake also known as Madhuri lake. Spend some time and come back to Tawang. Visit the giant Buddha statue. Night stay in Tawang.
Hotel : Dondrup homestay or similar.

Day 4

Tawang

Tawang Monastery

Have breakfast and visit the largest Monastery in India, built in 16th century, Tawang Monastery. Spend some time and move towards Dirang. Go to Sangti valley, a very scenic valley with picturesque mountains and river running alongside. Relax for the day. Night stay in Sangti valley.
Hotel : Letro’s homestay.

Day 5

Guwahati - Departure

Enjoy the morning sun have breakfast and hike around the nearby hills and head back to Guwahati via Kalaktang. Reach Guwahati by evening. The trip ends here.
