Sarnath is the place where Lord Buddha delivered his first sermon at Deer Park. The Attractions at Sarnath are the Buddha Temples , Dhamekha Stupa , Chaukhandi Stupa and the Archaeological Museum overnight stay in Varanasi .

On the right bank of the river Ghagra or Saryu,as it is called within sacred precincts, stands the holy city of Ayodhya, believed to be Birth Place of Lord Rama , the seventh incarnation of lord Vishnu.
