A 5 day South Sudan cultural experience focused on the Mundari and Lotuho communities with stays in Juba and Torit. The itinerary includes arrival at Juba International Airport, transfer to the Mundari cattle camp for traditional cattle related rituals and sunset experience, return to Juba and onward road transfer to Torit to experience Lotuho community culture, traditional dances, arts and a short evening hike. The tour concludes with a morning city tour in Juba and transfer to Juba International Airport for departure.
Arrival at Juba International Airport followed by transfer to the Mundari cattle camp subject to arrival time. Guests experience Mundari cattle related cultural practices including welcoming the cattle back from grazing, lighting smoke to chase insects away, cattle massage rituals and a photography friendly sunset at the camp. The day ends with overnight accommodation in Juba.
Early morning Mundari community rituals and cattle care activities, followed by return drive to Juba for breakfast. After breakfast at Juba, proceed by road to Torit where you arrive for accommodation and overnight stay at a hotel in Torit.
Full day Lotuho cultural immersion in Torit featuring traditional dances, cultural interaction and traditional arts and crafts. The day includes an evening small hiking experience and overnight stay in Torit.
After breakfast in Torit, drive back to Juba with drop off at accommodation. The day is primarily travel from Torit to Juba with arrival and overnight in Juba.
Morning city tour in Juba followed by transfer to Juba International Airport two hours before departure for onward flights. This concludes the cultural experience package.
