• Day 1 : Arrival – Dinner & Overnight at Stc Safari Lodge

  After an early breakfast, depart for the legendary Serengeti National Park (14,750 km²), Tanzania’s crown jewel. The drive winds through the Ngorongoro Highlands before descending into the park’s endless golden plains. Renowned for the Great Migration—where over 1.5 million wildebeest and zebras traverse the savanna—the Serengeti also shelters the "Big Five" (lion, leopard, elephant, buffalo, and rhino). Keep an eye out for cheetahs sprinting after prey and towering giraffes browsing acacia trees.

This area (part of the larger Serengeti ecosystem) is a haven for predators year-round. Spot cheetahs using termite mounds as lookout points, or leopards draped over sausage tree branches. Herds of eland, Tanzania’s largest antelope, graze alongside zebras, while ostriches stride across the plains.
  
  Birdlife thrives here, from the vibrant lilac-breasted roller to the massive kori bustard (Africa’s heaviest flying bird).   Descend into the Ngorongoro Crater, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and the world’s largest intact volcanic caldera (260 km²). This "Garden of Eden" shelters over 25,000 animals, including rare black rhinos, flamingo-lined soda lakes, and some of Africa’s densest lion populations. Hippos wallow in pools, while golden jackals patrol the grasslands. The crater’s steep walls create a microcosm of ecosystems, from forests (home to turacos and hornbills) to open plains (where secretary birds stalk snakes).
