5 Days Wagamon - Thekkady Tour

Upon arrival at Cochin airport meet with our representative and moving to Athirappilly. After fresh up and rest, watching Athirappilly waterfalls, one among the largest waterfalls in India. Later followed by Vazhachal Waterfalls, Thumboormuzhi Dam and so on.Later moving to Vagamon and Overnight stay at hotel in Vagamon.

Activities : Sightseeing

After breakfast, we start visiting all the places of Vagamon. We mainly cover the top 4 Destinations. Vagamon hill station in Idukki is among the few spots on the planet that need to be experienced first-hand to truly discover its glory. The grassy hills, velvet lawns and overall mysticism of the place cannot be replicated anywhere else in the world. This quaint town lies untouched by any modern influences and is neatly tucked away in Idukki district. Visitors can avail many activities including trekking, paragliding, mountaineering and rock climbing. People love travelling across a chain of three famous hills: Thangal, Murugan and Kurisumala. These are important to Hindus, Muslims and Christians, respectively, and are a perfect example of the communal harmony prevalent in the place. The Kurisumala monks have an enchanting dairy farm nearby that is an absolute delight to visit. Overnight at hotel in Vagamon. (Campfire can be arranged only as per request)

In the early morning, we visit Parunthumpara, one among the toppest place where we can enjoy the whole beauty of nature. Later, we move to Thekkady/Periyar and thereafter may opt for a pleasant boat ride along the Periyar Lake in the evening. Enjoy watching varied birds and animals like tigers, elephants, wild boar, deer, etc. at the Periyar / Thekkady National Park. The evening holds a show of Kerala's most popular classical dance.(Only as per request) Overnight stay at hotel.

After breakfast leave for Kumarakom (3½ hours) on day 4 of CHAMBADA’s HOLIDAYS Kerala Tour Itinerary. Enjoy the magic of backwater by going on a Houseboat (Kettuvallam) cruise across the backwaters. Spend the next 22 hours in your floating villa. Enjoy the backwaters of Kerala by getting a glimpse of the village life at close quarters; a unique and unforgettable experience. Enjoy the sunset & stay overnight on the houseboat. Breakfast, lunch and dinner included.

After completing the cruise, again moving to Kochi. (2 ½ hours) On the way, we do connect Kochi Lulu Mall for shopping purposes. Thereafter, a public boat cruise to Fort Cochin to visit Dutch Palace (Built by the Portuguese), Jew Town, the 1568 Jewish Synagogue, spice market, where the air is filled with the pungent smell of spices, St. Francis Church and Chinese fishing nets. Later In the evening, transfer to airport to connect flight for onward destination.
