Day wise Itinerary

• Day 1 : ARRIVAL GUWAHATI

  Upon arrival Guwahati Check into your pre-booked hotel. Relax and evening is free at its leisure & overnight at hotel.

• Day 2 : GUWAHATI TO SHILLONG – TRANSFER & SIGHTSEEING

  After breakfast we will visit Donbosco Musuem, Hailed as Asia's largest Museum of Indigenous Cultures, the Don Bosco Museum is the house of the beautiful culture and tradition of North East India. Mawphlang Sacred Forest, nestled in the East Khasi Hills near Mawphlang village, has its roots steeped deep in the age-old religious beliefs, in which forests are regarded as a sacred entity. Laitlum – Grand canyon of North east Laitlum Canyons is a little-explored haunt of the mountainous state of Meghalaya. Laitlum translates to 'end of hills' and this sublimely beautiful hilltop appears to be true to its name. after visit return back to hotel. Relax and evening is free at its leisure & overnight at hotel.

• Day 3 : SHILLONG TO CHERAPUNJEE – TRANSFER & SIGHTSEEING

  After breakfast we will drive towards Cherapunjee. En-route we will visit Elephant Falls. Cherapunjee is impressive with its gushing waterfalls and the deep gorges. You will get stunning views of the plains of Bangladesh. Close to town are the glorious Nohsngithiang Falls (Mawsmai Falls), Dainthlen Falls, Nohkailikai Falls (World’s fourth highest) and many other waterfalls. On arrival check-in at hotel rest for a while and visit Mawsmai Cave-6 km from the Cherapunjee market to the south lays the village of Mawsmai in the direction of Bangladesh border, Also visit Thangkharang Park. Overnight stay at the Hotel.

• Day 4 : CHERAPUNJEE – MAWLYNON – DAWKI – SHILLONG

  After breakfast drive towards Mawllynong Village located in the East Khasi Hills of Meghalaya, also referred as ‘God’s own garden’ has won the acclaim of being the cleanest village in Asia in 2003. The village offers picturesque natural beauty, a trek to the living root bridge at a neighbouring village Riwai. The village also offers a sight of natural balancing rock, a strange natural phenomenon of a boulder balancing on another rock. The village has won accolade for being the cleanest village in Asia in 2003 as well as the Cleanest Village in India in 2005. The village also offers breathtaking view of Bangladesh plains as it is located on the Indo-Bangla border. Afternoon drive towards Dawki. enjoy boating at Umngot River cleanest river water ever, enjoy the view of Jaflong point. Later on return back to Shillong. Overnight at hotel.

• Day 5 : SHILLONG – GUWAHATI

  After a leisurely breakfast after breakfast we will visit Cathedral Catholic Church and proceed towards Guwahati. On arrival we will visit Srimanta Shankardev Kalakshetra and in the evening we can go for Brahmaputra River Cruise (Alfresco Grand Sunset Cruise) [4:00 pm to 5:00 pm]. Overnight at hotel.
