On the way, you will pass through Chenani – Nashri Tunnel which is the longest road tunnel in India with a length of 9.28 Kms & is first tunnel in the country with a fully integrated tunnel control system. Situated at an altitude of 2730 m, Sonamarg, which means – Meadow of Gold – has, as its backdrop, snowy mountains against a cerulean sky. The Sindh River that flows through the valley abounds with trout. You may have Pony ride while going to Thajiwas Glacier. Enjoy sledge riding on snowy mountains. Back to Srinagar in the evening.
