Arrival & Meet-and-Greet: Upon your arrival at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport (JKIA), you will be met by your professional driver-guide. After a seamless airport pick-up, we immediately begin the drive northwest toward the majestic Great Rift Valley. The Rift Valley Descent: Wind down the spectacular escarpment, where we will pause at a panoramic viewpoint for photos of the valley floor stretching below. We then continue the journey through traditional Maasai country and the vibrant town of Narok. Camp Arrival: Reach the eastern edge of the reserve near the Oloolaimutia Gate to check into Enchoro Wildlife Camp. Settle into your semi-luxury safari tent, designed to offer comfort while keeping you connected to the sounds of the bush. Depending on your arrival time, we will head out for an introductory game drive. The golden afternoon light offers the perfect conditions to spot grazing herds of zebras, wildebeests, and the area’s resident predators as they wake for the evening hunt. Clear customs, step into Tanzania, and meet your expert Tanzanian guide in your private 4x4 vehicle. Transit into Serengeti: Drive through local villages and enter the Serengeti National Park via the western corridor, enjoying a packed lunch en route. The landscape quickly opens into the vast "endless" grasslands. Lodge Arrival: Arrive at the ridge-top Serengeti Serena Safari Lodge in the central Seronera region. Take a moment to relax by the stunning infinity pool that looks seamlessly over the plains. Big Cats & Sundowners among the Kopjes Predator Tracking: Spend the morning exploring the wildlife-rich Seronera Valley, renowned for its exceptionally high concentration of lions, leopards, and cheetahs. The Kopjes: Navigate around ancient granite outcrops (kopjes), which serve as prime lookout towers for big cats. Midday Rest & Afternoon Drive: Return to the lodge for a warm lunch and a swim before heading back out for a late afternoon safari along the riverbanks. Sundowner Tradition: Pause at sunset for a classic African sundowner, sipping drinks and enjoying snacks as the sun turns the sky a deep crimson.
