6-Day Discover Tarangire, Serengeti and Ngorongoro - Midrange

Arrival in Arusha, introductory briefing and orientation to begin the safari. Guests will have the opportunity to explore the streets of Arusha, visit museums and markets, and experience the local food scene. Mount Meru overlooks the city and landmarks such as the Uhuru Monument are highlighted. Accommodation for the night is at Green Side Hotel in Arusha. Meal plan for the day is breakfast and dinner.

Full day in Tarangire National Park, a diverse landscape of savannah plains, river woodlands and rocky hills. Tarangire is renowned for big baobab trees and large elephant populations, healthy lion populations and frequent sightings of wildebeest, giraffes, hippos, buffaloes, baboons, vervet monkeys and zebras. Guests should watch for predators including lions and occasionally cheetah or leopard. Accommodation for the night is at Marera Valley Lodge located between Ngorongoro Crater and Lake Manyara. Meal plan for the day is breakfast, lunch and dinner.

Travel into the Serengeti National Park and begin two nights immersed in one of the worlds most iconic wilderness areas. Central Serengeti around Seronera offers outstanding wildlife viewing with frequent sightings of predators and large herbivores. Expect encounters with lions, leopards, cheetahs, elephants, giraffes, zebras, buffaloes, wildebeest and spotted hyenas. If visiting during the Great Migration there may be spectacular large scale movement of wildebeest and zebras. Evenings are spent at Kon Tiki Serengeti Camp where guests can relax in tented accommodation and enjoy meals under the stars.

A full additional day in the Serengeti to further explore the park and deepen wildlife encounters. Continue game drives across the plains and kopjes, seek out predators in action and photograph the diverse species and scenic landscapes. Evenings return to Kon Tiki Serengeti Camp to enjoy its tranquil location, outdoor dining under the stars and the bush atmosphere.

Return to Arusha for the final nights in town. Time to revisit the city, markets and local landmarks, and to relax at Green Side Hotel. The day includes arrival back in Arusha and an evening meal. Meal plan for the day is dinner.

End of safari and transfer to Kilimanjaro Airport for departure. Guests conclude their time in Tanzania after breakfast and airport transfer is included. This is the final day of the itinerary and the trip ends with the scheduled departure from Kilimanjaro Airport.
