6-Day Kenya Luxury Safari | Amboseli | Nakuru | Mara NR

Nairobi is a lively bustling city at about 1870m above sea level. On arrival you will be picked up from Jomo Kenyatta International Airport and transferred to your hotel where you will be assisted with check in. Spend your first night in the capital and enjoy a welcome dinner during which you will receive a briefing of your safari. Accommodation is at Four Points by Sheraton Nairobi Airport luxury hotel. Meals include breakfast; lunch and dinner are not included. Drinking water is provided while other drinks are not included.

After an early morning breakfast in Nairobi you will travel south to Amboseli National Park which sits against the breathtaking backdrop of Mount Kilimanjaro. Amboseli lies in a semi arid part of the country but is fed by underground water filtered from Kilimanjaro creating clear water springs at the park heart. You will reach your safari camp in time for the included lunch then take a tour of the safari camp followed by an afternoon game drive. Amboseli is renowned for large herds of elephants and offers excellent wildlife viewing and photographic opportunities.

After breakfast depart the Amboseli safari camp and head by road towards Lake Nakuru National Park. Lake Nakuru is one of the soda lakes of the Rift Valley and is famed for its flamingos and varied wildlife. In the afternoon take a game drive through the park looking out for zebras monkeys rhinos and other species including the black and white varieties. Historically the lake supported very large flamingo numbers though they have diminished in recent years. Return to your lodge before sunset and enjoy the included dinner and overnight at Sarova Lion Hill Game Lodge.

Continue your safari to the land of the Maasai the Masai Mara National Reserve. The Mara is famous for the annual migration of thousands of wildebeest gazelle and zebra which typically occurs between July and September. Arrive at the camp in time for lunch and then embark on your first afternoon game drive keeping an eye out for Africas Big Five and possible hunt sightings. Return to your safari camp before nightfall and enjoy the included dinner at Sarova Mara Game Camp.

Begin with an early breakfast and set out for a morning game drive in the Masai Mara admiring rolling hills waving savanna grasses and acacia trees. Immerse yourself in Maasai culture during a visit to a local village to experience the Maasai way of life. The Masai Mara has a very high density of lions and offers opportunities to observe possible Big Five hunt scenes during game drives. Return to camp after the afternoon game drive and enjoy dinner and your last night in the Masai Mara.

Have breakfast at the Mara and set off by road for Nairobi. On arrival tour the Karen Blixen Estate a former coffee plantation associated with the author and described in her novel Out of Africa. Enjoy an included lunch at the Karen Blixen Coffee Garden then spend the afternoon shopping before being transferred to the airport for your flight home. There is no accommodation included at the end of the tour and additional accommodation cannot be arranged by this operator. You will be dropped off at the airport.
