6-Day Kenya Luxury Safari | Amboseli | Nakuru | Mara NR

Arrival day in Nairobi at JKIA. You will be picked up from the airport by a company representative and transferred to your hotel where you will be assisted with check-in. Spend your first night in the capital with a welcome dinner during which you will receive a briefing of your safari. Accommodation is at Four Points by Sheraton Nairobi Airport Luxury hotel. Meals: Breakfast included; Lunch and dinner not included. Drinking water provided; other drinks not included.

After an early morning breakfast in Nairobi, travel south by road to Amboseli National Park, located against the backdrop of Mount Kilimanjaro. Amboseli is semi arid but fed by underground water from Kilimanjaro which emerges as clear springs in the park. You will reach your safari camp in time for the included lunch, tour the camp and go on an afternoon game drive. Amboseli is renowned for its large herds of elephants and their intact social structure.

Have breakfast and depart the Amboseli safari camp by road heading towards Lake Nakuru National Park in the Rift Valley. Lake Nakuru is one of the soda lakes and is known for its flamingos and other wildlife. Arrive at your lodge, take an afternoon game drive keeping an eye out for zebras, monkeys, rhinos and other species, then return to the lodge before sunset for an included dinner and overnight stay.

Continue the safari to the Masai Mara National Reserve, land of the Maasai and famous for its wildebeest migration between July and September. Arrive at camp in time for lunch and then embark on your first afternoon game drive in the Mara. Keep watch for Africas Big Five and possible hunt sightings. Return to the safari camp before nightfall for an included dinner and overnight at Sarova Mara Game Camp.

Begin the day with an early breakfast and set out for a morning game drive in the Masai Mara, enjoying the rolling hills, savanna grasses and acacia trees. Visit a local Maasai village to immerse in the Maasai way of life. The Masai Mara has a high density of lions; watch for possible Big Five hunt scenes during your drives. Head back to camp after the afternoon game drive for dinner and your final overnight in the Mara.

Have breakfast at the Mara and set off by road for Nairobi. On arrival tour the Karen Blixen Estate, a former coffee plantation described in the novel Out of Africa, and enjoy an included lunch at the Karen Blixen Coffee Garden. Spend the afternoon shopping, then you will be transferred to the airport for your flight home. No accommodation is provided at the end of the tour and you will be dropped off at the airport.
