Nairobi is a lively, bustling city at 1870m above sea level with a modern center and organized services. On arrival you will be picked up from JKIA by a company representative and transferred to your hotel where you will be assisted with check in. Spend the first night in the capital and join a welcome dinner during which you will receive a briefing of the upcoming safari. Meals: breakfast included; lunch and dinner not included. After an early morning breakfast in Nairobi, travel south to Amboseli National Park with views of Mount Kilimanjaro. Amboseli lies in the semi arid region and is fed by underground water filtered from Kilimanjaro, producing clear springs at the heart of the park. You will reach the safari camp in time for included lunch, tour the camp, and go on an afternoon game drive where large herds of elephants and other wildlife can be seen. Meals: all meals included. Have breakfast and depart the Amboseli safari camp by road heading towards Lake Nakuru National Park in the Rift Valley. Lake Nakuru is a soda lake famous for flamingos and diverse wildlife. In the afternoon take a game drive through the park keeping an eye out for species such as zebras, monkeys, rhinos and other elusive black and white varieties. Return to the lodge before sunset for an included dinner. Meals: all meals included. Drinking water provided; other drinks not included.

Continue the safari to the Masai Mara National Reserve, land of the Maasai and site of the annual wildebeest gazelle and zebra migration between July and September. Arrive at camp in time for lunch and then go for your first afternoon game drive in the Mara. Keep an eye out for Africas Big Five and possible hunt sightings. Begin the day with an early breakfast and set out for a morning game drive across rolling hills, savanna grasses and acacia trees. Immerse in the Maasai way of life during a visit to a local village. The Masai Mara has very high lion density and you should watch for possible Big Five hunt scenes during game drives. Return to camp after the afternoon game drive for dinner and your overnight stay on the last night in the Mara. Meals: all meals included. Drinking water provided; other drinks not included.

Have breakfast at the Mara and set off for Nairobi. Tour the Karen Blixen Estate, a former coffee plantation made famous by the novel Out of Africa. Enjoy an included lunch at the Karen Blixen Coffee Garden, spend the afternoon shopping, and then be transferred to the airport for your flight home.
