Day wise Itinerary

  • Day 1

    DEHRADUN ARRIVAL

    Welcome to Dehradun. You are greeted and assisted on arrival at Dehradun Airport /Railway station by our representative and transfer to the hotel. Upon arrival check-in to the hotel. In the evening, our team will brief all the passengers about yatra and provide bags to take important things for the trip. Baggage limit upto 5kg per person. Overnight stay at Dehradun with Dinner.

    YAMUNOTRI

    07:00 am Estimated Time of Departure from Sahastradhara helipad, Dehradun
    07:45 am Estimated Time of Arrival at Kharsali helipad , Yamunotri

    This is officially the first day of the Chardham yatra. Guests will be picked up from the Hotel and taken to Sahastradhara helidrome. Guests shall be briefed by the Ground crew at Sahastradhara, before we take-off for Kharsali. On arrival at Kharsali helipad, guests shall be checked-in to their resort, which is at walking distance from the helipad. Guests can get refreshed for their journey ahead to the Yamunotri dham. Temple is a 6 KMS trek which will be covered by Palki and takes about 5 hours. After divine darshan you’ll return to the hotel by lunch time. Have your lunch and spend a few hours relaxing. In Evening pay a visit to the ancient Shani Temple nearby and spend the night at your hotel, after having dinner.

    GANGOTRI

    Harsil is one of the most beautiful and picturesque valleys in Uttarakhand. Some people also call it mini Switzerland. Gangotri temple is about 22 kms from Harsil helipad and the drive by car takes 50 minutes. It is advisable that passengers leave straight for the temple from the helipad. Our ground staff will assist the passengers with darshan at Gangotri temple. After returning from the temple, passengers can take lunch in the resort and thereafter relax and have a campfire in the evening. It is recommended to visit the nearby village for an evening walk and buy pure wool stuff.

    KEDARNATH

    09:00 am Estimated Time of Departure from Harsil helipad
    09:45 am Estimated Time of Arrival at Phata/ Sitapur helipad

    Kedarnath is flanked by breath-taking snow-capped peaks that will enchant your heart and make it the most heritage site among all Chardham. We take off from Harsil to Guptkashi/ Phata/ Sirsi helipads. Due to Government regulation, guests will be shifted to shuttle helicopters from the same helipad to fly to Kedarnath and it may take some time (10 Min to 2 Hrs) depending on Shuttle slots or Ground situation. Helipad at Kedarnath is 500 meters away from the temple, and will take approx 15 min to reach. After darshan we will take you to the hotel. Night halt will be at Sitapur or Kedarnath.

    BADRINATH

    After arrival at Badrinath helipad passengers can check-in in the Hotel which is close to the temple. Our ground staff will assist the passengers in taking darshan at the temple.
    After lunch a visit to Mana village is highly recommended as this is the last village before the international border with China. Passengers can attend Swarna Aarti at Badrinath temple in the evening.Dinner and overnight stay at Badrinath.

    RETURN TO DEHRADUN

    09:30 am Estimated Time of Arrival at Sahastradhara helipad Dehradun

    After darshan and breakfast bow your head to Badri Narayan temple and fly back to Dehradun with positive vibes and pleasant memories of Chardham Yatra by helicopter package.
    On arrival at Dehradun helipad you will transfer to the Airport / Railway station. The Helicopter tour ends here with happy memories to be cherished forever.

IMPORTANT NOTE

  • The above-mentioned timings are not final. Timings may differ on your date of travel, mentioned timings are tentative just for understanding the operational system & timing. Things can be changed at the last moment due to any operational, weather changes, clearance from Air Force & Civil Aviation, VVIP movements, valley flying by Indian Air Force (NOTAM), sudden occurrence of technical snag in helicopter, illness of flying crew & delayed positioning of the guests at the helipad.
  • In order to avoid any unforeseen circumstances (like weather change or some sort of an operational or technical issue) which may be an unfortunate cause for your delay, it would be wise for you to book a return flight or train tickets for the next day. (keep at least one additional day in hand). No compensation will be provided if any flight/train or any other things are missed out.
  • It is advised to you to reach Dehradun a day prior to the commencement of your journey, since the helicopter will be boarded early in the morning around 6 AM
  • This is a fixed departure tour, and all departure timings of each destination are fixed. Therefore, passengers must ensure they report as per the mentioned scheduled ETD on each day of the tour
  • Single Supplement @ Rs. 45,000/- extra shall be chargeable in case any guest wishes to stay in single occupancy in hotels at all destinations.

Terms & Conditions

  • INFANTS POLICY:-
  • Infants below 2 years / 12kg are carried free of charge. In case of verification of age, ID proof/birth certificate of the child shall be checked. Children above the age of 2 years will be considered full ticket
  • BAGGAGE ALLOWANCE
  • Only one handbag (Soft Bags/duffle bags) weighing maximum 3 to 4 kg is allowed per passenger, there is very limited space for luggage in the helicopter. Trollies are not strictly not allowed. We do provide a Duffle bag. Therefore, we discourage bringing too much luggage. In case, if you have any extra luggage you can keep it at the Hotel cloak room.
  • HELICOPTER WEIGHT LIMITATION
  • Guests have to MANDATORILY submit their correct weights at the time of booking. If any change in weight found at the time of their travel, from the submitted weights, which may lead to exceeding of our aircraft weight carrying capacity, guest(s) would be deboarded & canceled for the heli-tour, without any refund.
  • OVERWEIGHT CHARGES: ON PER SEAT BASIS ONLY
  • Overweight charges would be charged to guests who are above 75 kg weight. The reason for the same is that we operate at very high-altitude terrain, where the weight carrying capacity of the aircraft is only 420 kg. Hence, due to overweight passengers, we lose seats in our shared flights. Overweight charges are applicable at INR 2,500 per Kg.
  • GUIDELINES FOR PASSENGERS
  • Carrying AADHAR CARD is a must for all Indians, whereas a passport is required for foreign nationals.
  • All temples in Chardham are located in high altitude areas. Passengers having asthma problems should not undertake this yatra
  • All passengers undertaking this yatra should be medically and physically fit.
  • Passengers are advised to carry a small oxygen bottle with them as a precaution. It is available locally at all medical shops
  • Although day temperatures at these locations are normal it becomes cold at night and so passengers must carry woolen clothes with them.
  • All passengers are advised to carry their own medication
  • Company shall not be liable for any medical emergency on the ground to the party, thus advising guests to get the fitness certificate from the doctor to travel to the high altitude sector.
  • Weighing at the time of boarding the helicopter is a must since the pilot will not allow boarding in case it exceeds the weight conveyed at the time of booking & we reserve the right to shuffle passengers to manage the right weight of helicopters for safe flying in the hills.
  • The pilgrims have to stick to the Itinerary.

  • TERMS AND CONDITIONS
  • Only 2 Kg baggage per passenger will be permitted. Passengers are advised not to carry big suitcases as there is very small baggage space inside the helicopter. Passengers bringing excess baggage might not be allowed to take the same in the chopper by pilot.
  • Children above the age of 2 years will be considered full ticket
  • There is no provision of concession to children or senior citizens.
  • Weighing at the time of boarding the helicopter is a must, since the company shall not allow boarding in case the total weight exceeds the weight limitation of the helicopter. And, due to the same reason, in case of more than 01 available aircraft, we reserve the right to shuffle passengers between different groups to manage the right weight of helicopters for safe flying in the hills.
  • Passengers may be divided into 2 groups while changing the helicopter at Kedarnath /Guptkashi shuttle depending on their body weight
  • While changing the helicopter at Kedarnath or Guptkashi/Phata/sitapur the waiting time may be vary. depending on Shuttle slots / weather conditions or technical reasons or ground situations.
  • No money will be refunded in case the passenger is de-boarded due to wrong given body weight. 8. Company reserves the right to postpone the timings of flying, subject to weather conditions. And, in case of night halt due to Force majeure reasons, cost for the same will be borne by the clients.
  • In case the journey is not finished within the stipulated time and passengers are not able to visit one or more Dhams due to bad weather conditions/technical reasons then the company will try to visit all places within the stipulated time. Although if this is not possible then the liability of the company will be limited to refund of unutilised sector/s.
  • Rescheduling of booking to a next date will be done subject to availability and on payment of 10% of the cost. This will be permitted only if applied 7 days before the journey date. In case the rescheduling is requested with less than 7 days to the journey then booking will be treated as canceled and a fresh booking will be given subject to availability.
  • In case of a charter getting canceled due to bad weather or any other reasons on the date of your travel, the booking will not be revalidated for the next day. Refund as per the refunds/cancellations policy, with no further obligation of Company whatsoever. Any kind of inconvenience caused because of cancellation of flights is beyond the control of the operator. No compensation, reimbursement or arrangements shall be offered in the event of cancellation of a flight.
  • We reserves the right to shuffle any destination depending on the weather conditions or any unforeseen circumstances which is beyond our control
  • Our company shall not be liable for any medical emergency on the grounds of the party. Therefore, in your own interest, guests are hereby advised to kindly consult a doctor and get a medical check-up done, before commencing the yatra. Medical check-up is mainly required if a guest has any medical suffering/condition.
  • The Company reserves the right, without assigning any reason, to cancel, advance, reschedule, over-fly or delay the commencement or continuance of the flight. Without incurring any liability in damages or otherwise to the passengers or any other person on any ground whatsoever. The Company reserves the right to refuse to carry any person whom it considers unfit for travel or what in the opinion of the company may constitute a risk to the aircraft or to the persons on board.
  • All kinds of expenses that arise because of a natural calamity (in the form of weather, government restrictions, strikes, agitations, political disturbances of other nature, etc). These expenses will be borne by the customer.
  • In respect of covid-19, all necessary measures issued by the state & central governments would have to be adhered to by all the pilgrims for their own as well other safety & health.
  • Disputes, if any, are to be settled by Courts in Dehradun who will have Jurisdiction in this regard
  • BAD WEATHER / FORCE MAJEURE POLICY-
  • 100% refund shall be applicable in case the entire tour gets canceled due to any Force Majeure reason, minus flight preparation charges of INR 2,500 Per Person Per Sector and any additional services provided to guests.
  • In case the Do Dham Yatra is delayed due to bad weather or any other unforeseen reasons, The Journey will be conducted on the next available dates.
  • In case the journey is not finished within the stipulated time and passengers are not able to visit one or more Dhams due to bad weather conditions/technical reasons then the company will try to visit all places within the stipulated time. Although if this is not possible then the liability of the company will be limited to refund of unutilised sector/s. (15000/-Dham per person will be refunded)
  • After commencement of tour, if the aircraft has to return mid-way due to weather/force majeure conditions, guests will be charged for the flying time of the sector getting canceled @ INR 105,000/hr plus 18% GST, over & above the additional services rendered to the guest.
  • Additional Services: Deduction of any additional services provided at any of the Dhams during the tour of the guests will be deducted over and above the refundable Tour Cost.
  • Where bad weather, technical snags or any force majeure reason beyond company control results in the cancellation of the flight being delayed or canceled, Company will not be liable in any way for the canceled or delayed flight. However, refunds will be given to clients as per the refunds policy. Any kind of inconvenience caused because of cancellation of flights is beyond the control of the operator. No compensation or reimbursement for accommodation, transportation, meals or any other travel expenses done by the guests shall be offered in the event of cancellation of
  • a flight.
  • New passenger(s) scheduled for departure from Dehradun on any respective travel date shall be our top priority, over the back-log passenger(s) of previous days(s).
  • COMMUNICATION: -Although all private mobile phones have coverage, BSNL mobile is better in most of the places.
  • CLOTHING: There is no restriction for clothing while you enter the Temple as such. you can wear anything you wish. ladies can wear Salwaar Kameez, track pants etc.
  • BEST SEASON: The best season to avail the yatra on helicopter is May-June and September October. We do not operate during July-August months to the rainy season.

Payment Terms & Methods :

Package Confirmation & Booking, please deposit the 30% amount of the Tour cost to process the booking and the balance amount is to be paid 15 days prior to the date of travel.

Cancellation & Refund Policy :

If passengers wish to cancel their bookings, then they will have to pay following cancellation charges.
Upto 30 Days before journey : 30 % Cancellation charges and 70% Refund
Upto 20 Days before journey : 50 % Cancellation charges and 50 % Refund
Less than 10 Days before journey : No Refund
No show by passenger : No refund
