• Day 1 : Arrival in Tanzania and Transfer to Moshi

  Welcome to Tanzania! Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport, our team will meet you and take you to your hotel in Moshi. Get some rest before starting your climb.

  Umbwe Gate to Umbwe Cave Camp
  After breakfast, drive to Umbwe Gate (1,640m/5,380ft) for registration. The hike begins through a dense rainforest with steep trails. This is a challenging day with continuous uphill trekking. Arrive at Umbwe Cave Camp for the night.
