Day 1

Arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport

Welcome to Tanzania — the heart of safari adventure! Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO) , a friendly Safari Spirit Journeys representative will greet you and transfer you to your comfortable lodge in Arusha.
Take the evening to relax and unwind as you prepare for your unforgettable Big Five safari beginning the next day.

Day 2

Arusha to Tarangire National Park

After breakfast, depart for Tarangire National Park, a scenic gem famed for its towering baobab trees and vast herds of elephants. The Tarangire River, a lifeline during the dry season, draws a spectacular array of wildlife — including giraffes, zebras, buffaloes, and predators such as lions and leopards.

This park is also a paradise for bird lovers, boasting more breeding species than any other destination on the planet. After a full day of game drives and a picnic lunch amidst the wilderness, continue to your lodge in Karatu for dinner and a restful overnight stay.

Day 3

Ngorongoro Crater to Serengeti

After breakfast today, we will spend the full day in this magical and endless Serengeti National Park. We will en route the game drive and have lunch, and later we will be able to return for the rest of the day after the great adventure, as you will be able to witness the wildebeest migration and among the iconic predators

Day 5

Serengeti to Karatu

Awake to the sounds of the wild and enjoy a sunrise game drive in the Serengeti, where predators are most active in the cool morning hours. Capture unforgettable moments of lions, cheetahs, and grazing antelopes against the golden light.

Later, enjoy a leisurely en-route game drive as you make your way back to Karatu, passing through the scenic Ngorongoro Highlands. Arrive at your lodge for dinner and a cozy evening of reflection on the day’s adventures.

Lake Manyara National Park – Return to Arusha/ Kilimanjaro International Airport
