Day wise Itinerary

• Day 1 : Arrival

  Arrival is at Calicut Airport / Railway station (assistance on arrival) and drive to Wayanad (03 Hrs Drive); on arrival check into the hotel. Spend the day at leisure or evening is free for exploring nearby places to your hotel. Overnight stay is in Wayanad.

• Day 2 : Wayanad

  After breakfast proceed for sightseeing. Set at an altitude of 700 - 2100 m above sea level, Wayanad is one of the districts in Kerala that has been able to retain its pristine nature. The fast-flowing rivers - Panamaram, Mananthavady and Kabini add to the beauty of Wayanad. Sightseeing attractions include Pookode Lake, Soojipara waterfalls [closed on Monday], Kuruva Island - Depends on water level - [closed on Monday], Edakkal Cave [closed on Monday], Chembra Peak. Overnight stay is arranged in Resort.

• Day 3 : Drive to Calicut (02 ½ Hrs Drive)

  After breakfast check out from the hotel and drive to Calicut (02 ½ Hrs Drive), on arrival check into the hotel. Afternoon proceed for local sightseeing of Calicut - the traditional capital of Northern Kerala under the Samuthiri rule. The sightseeing attractions in this legendary city include Calicut Beach, Thali Temple, Kappad Beach, Pazhassiraja Museum and Beypore Beach. Overnight stay in Calicut.

• Day 4 : Drive to Athirapilly (04 Hrs)

  After Breakfast check out from the hotel and drive to Athirapilly (04 Hrs). Athirapilly Waterfalls is a popular picnic spot where water plunges from a height of nearly 80 feet before joining the Chalakudi River. Check in to the hotel on arrival and spend the day at leisure. Overnight stay is arranged in Athirapilly.

• Day 5 : Drive to Munnar (05 Hrs)

  After breakfast check out from the hotel and drive to Munnar (05 Hrs). On the way enjoy some waterfalls and natural scenic spots. On arrival at Munnar check into Hotel and relax for the rest of the day. Overnight stay at the hotel will be arranged.

• Day 6 : Munnar Sightseeing

  After breakfast spend the day with local sightseeing. Situated at the confluence of three mountain streams - Mudrapuzha, Nallathanni and Kundale, Munnar is 1600 Meter above sea level. This majestic hill station was once the summer resort of the British government in South India. Local sightseeing of Munnar includes visit to Rose Garden, Photo Point, Honey Tree, Mattupetty Dam, Echo point, Kundale Lake. Afternoon proceed to Rajamalai were the rarest species of mountain goat, "Nilgiri Tahrs", can be spotted. Overnight stay is arranged at Munnar.

• Day 7 : Drive to Alleppey

  After breakfast check out from the hotel and drive to Alleppey. Set out on an enchanting overnight backwater cruise in traditionally decorated houseboats. Check in time is 01:00 PM and cruise starts with lunch. While cruising, let your eyes settle for the bowed-down paddy fields, local inhabitants, rustic homes, ancient churches / temples and swaying coconut groves. Food will be served onboard. Overnight stay in the houseboat.

• Day 8 : Departure

  After breakfast check out from the House Boat and drive to Cochin Airport / railway station (depend on your departure place) for your flight / train back home, feeling contented about a wonderful holiday you spent in the God's Own Country.
