7 Nights - 8 Days Spiti Valley Tour Package from Shimla

Today it is a drive of 8-9 hrs, driving through the beautiful villages of Fagu, Theog, Matiana, Narkanda and Rampur. En route we will have many comfort breaks and will visit the Apple orchards and Hattu Peak (3,400 metres/ 11,154 feet) at Narkanda, from where you can have a spectacular view of the mighty Central Himalayas and will also visit the traditional wooden carved temple of Godess Kali on the top. We will also stop by a small lake on the way to Hattu Peak. Later on, we continue our drive to Sarahan via Rampur and enroute we will stop for lunch break and various picture breaks and comfort breaks. Sarahan – the tiny village offers the splendid views of Shrikhanda Mahadev Peak (5,155 meters). The major attraction in Sarahan is centuries-old Hindu temple of Godess Bhimakali. Steeped in legend, the temple complex is a resplendent example of hill architecture. Sarahan is also the gateway to Kinnaur Valley. In the evening, you will return to the hotel for dinner and overnight stay.

After breakfast at your hotel, we will visit the famous temple of Bhimakali at Sarahan. This is the same temple in which human sacrifices were made about two centuries ago. After visiting the temple, we will continue driving to Sangla (4-5 hrs) where you will check in at your hotel or could also choose to stay in fixed luxury tented accommodation. After lunch you will be taken on a walk through Kamru and Sangla villages ( 1-2 hrs) and we will visit the beautifully carved old temples and Buddhist monasteries. You will have plenty of opportunity to speak to the local people in these valleys. The Sangla valley is also known as the Baspa Sangla valley, after river Baspa which flows through the valley, and it is the part of Kinnaur valley. In the evening, you will return to the hotel for dinner and overnight stay.

After morning breakfast, you will sign out from the hotel and proceed for Chitkul village. It’s last Indian village which borders Tibet and China. Upon arrival, you will check into the hotel and head out to visit the mesmerizing Baspa river valley & historical fort at Sangla. In the evening, you will return to the hotel for dinner and overnight stay.

After breakfast, you will check out from the hotel and head to visit gorgeous Kinner kailash valley. From there, you will drive to kalpa and enjoy the view of karchham, Reckong Peo on the way. Upon reaching, you will check into the hotel and spend leisure time roaming around the Kalpa market. Later, you will return to the hotel for delicious dinner and night stay.

Another memorable day to Kaza

After morning breakfast, you will check out from the hotel and visit Tabo Monastery for blessings. Built in 996 AD, the monastery is a complex comprising 23 Chortens, 9 Temples, a monk’s chamber and nun’s chamber. You can also see a modern Gompa and school of painting founded by Dalai Lama.

Afterwards, you will drive to Kaza (3870m from sea level) and en-route visit Dhankar Gompa (primitive capital of Spiti) and Pin Valley. After reaching at Kaza, you will check into the hotel for dinner and cozy night stay.

Enjoy a serene day at Kaza

After early morning breakfast, you will advance for local sightseeing day. You will visit Ki Monastery, Kibber Village, Comick Village and witness amazing Kaza. Kibber village (world’s highest village) has a monastery and wildlife sanctuary. You can also see houses made of stones unlike mud or adobe brick.

Located at the height of 4,166 meters, Ki monastery is a Tibetan Buddhist monastery in the Spiti Valley. While at Comick village, you will visit Komic monastery which is the highest motorable monastery (4,587 m) in the world.

After completing full day tour, you will drive back to the hotel for dinner and night stay.
