Today, the journey continues towards Nako, a beautiful high-altitude village located near the Indo-Tibet border. On the way, stop at the Khab Bridge, where the Spiti and Sutlej rivers meet. Upon reaching Nako, explore the serene Nako Lake (which may be partially frozen in January) and visit the ancient Nako Monastery. Spend the evening walking through the quiet lanes of the village and stay overnight in Nako.

After breakfast, drive from Nako towards Tabo via Sumdo. If the route is open, visit Gue Village to see the famous 500-year-old naturally preserved Mummy of a Lama. Continue to Tabo and explore the thousand-year-old Tabo Monastery, one of the oldest Buddhist monasteries in the Himalayas. Spend your evening experiencing the calm atmosphere of the valley and stay overnight in Tabo.

Start your day with a drive to Kaza, the headquarters of Spiti Valley. En route, visit the stunning Dhankar Monastery, dramatically perched on a cliff.
