The Amarnath Yatra is an annual pilgrimage that takes place in the Indian union territory of Jammu and Kashmir. It is one of the most significant religious journeys for Hindus and is dedicated to Lord Shiva. The pilgrimage involves traveling to the Amarnath Cave, located in the Himalayas at an altitude of about 3,888 meters (12,756 feet) above sea level.

The cave is believed to be the place where Lord Shiva revealed the secrets of immortality to his consort Parvati. Inside the cave, there is an ice stalagmite formation that is worshipped as the Shiva Linga, representing Lord Shiva.

Day wise Itinerary

Day 1

SRINAGAR AIRPORT - SONMARG 100 KMS {4 HRS. DRIVE}

Our services start with your arrival at Srinagar airport. Meet & greet and transfer by Car to Sonmarg. Arrive Sonmarg & check in to the Swiss Camps. Rest of the day at leisure. Overnight stay at Sonmarg.

Day 2

SONMARG - BALTAL - AMARNATH JI - BALTAL - SRINAGAR

Short drive of 15 Kms will take you to Baltal (Helipad) Baltal- Panchtarni - Baltal helicopter ride. The Helicopter start operating at 06.00Hrs (Weather Permitting). Panchtarni is approx. 6 Kms from Holy Cave, you can go there by Foot or can hire Palki/Pony at your own cost. After darshan return back to Panchtarni to board helicopter to Baltal. Transfer to hotel in Srinagar. Dinner & overnight stay at Srinagar.

Day 3

DEPARTURE DAY

After breakfast time is free till departure. Check out from the Hotel and transfer to airport for your onward journey.
