Day wise Itinerary

Day 1

Srinagar/sonamarg

On arrival in Srinagar drive direct to Sonamarg. The distance of about 100 kms will be covered in about 3-½ hrs. Rest of the day free at Sonamarg for acclimatization and prepare for next day’s trek/trip to Amarnath Cave.Dinner overnight in Hotel/Tent

Day 2

Sonamarg - Neelgranth - Amarnath Cave - Neelgranth - Sonamarg - Srinagar

After very early breakfast drive to Baltal - Neelgranth. On arrival transfer to Helipad to board Helicopter upwards to Amarnath cave for Darshan. One has to take helicopter up to Panchtarni where from trek about 06 kms each way up to cave. Return to Baltal or Sonamarg. The route is ascending right up to the cave. Have a dip in the ice water of Amarnath stream, which floes outside the cave. Inside the cave there is scenery of calm tranquility of white and glistering three massive Lingams stand erect symbol of Lord Shiva, Parvathi and Ganesh. After Darshan return back to Neelgranth, Baltal, Sonamarg and then to Srinagar. On arrival in Srinagar, transfer to hotel - houseboats for dinner and Overnight stay.

Day 3

Srinagar - Gulmarg - Srinagar

Dal Lake

After breakfast drive to Gulmarg (Meadow of Flowers) 2730 Mts. Above sea level. The distance of 65 kms will be covered in about 1.5 hrs. Gulmarg has one of the best Ski slopes in the world and the highest golf course of the world with 18 holes. One can also have the view of Nanga Parbhat if weather permits. The view Enroute from Tangmarg to Gulmarg is fascinating. One can also have a short trek upto Khilangmarg which can be covered in about 3 hrs. Also enjoy cable car (gondola) to Kangdoori (1st phase). Late afternoon drive back to Srinagar. On arrival in Srinagar, sightseeing of Mughal Gardens visiting Nishat Bagh (Abode of pleasure) built by Asif Khan brother in law of Jehangir in 1632 AD. And Shalimar Bagh (Abode of love) built by Jehangir for his wife Empress Noor Jehan. All the gardens are situated on the bank of Dal Lake with the Zabarwan Mountains in the background. The distance from Srinagar to the said gardens is about 12 and 15 kms respectively. Enroute visit carpet-weaving factory. Dinner Overnight hotel - houseboat

Depart Srinagar

Dal Lake

After breakfast Shikara ride on Dal Lake visiting floating market and vegetable gardens. Later transfer to Srinagar airport to board flight for onward destination.
