Day wise Itinerary

• Day 1 : Amritsar

  Pickup from Amritsar Railway Station/ Airport transfer to the hotel, Check-in the Hotel, Start your city tour with the blessings of Golden Temple- the most sacred temple for Sikhs. It is a symbol of the magnificence and strength of the Sikh people all over the world. Then visit Jallianwala Bagh which is a memorial to the countless numbers of innocent Indians which were massacred by General Dyer in April 13, 1919. British General, Edward Dyer, ordered his soldiers to opened fire on an unarmed gathering of Hundreds men, women and children in this place.
  
  In the evening visit Indo-Pak Wagah Border which is famous for its ‘Retreat’ ceremony at the time of sunset. Wagah Border is situated at a distance of 28 kilometers from Amritsar. This place to see the change of guards ceremony and the flag hoisting and lowering activities which are done with great skill and precision by the border security forces of both the countries, Wagah is the only land border open between Pakistan and India, Return to hotel. • Day 2 : Amritsar – Katra (275Kms)

  After having the breakfast at the hotel, drive to Katra via Pathankot On arrival at Katra, check into your hotel. You may leave for darshan in the evening (or next morning, as per your choice).Stay overnight at Hotel in Katra.

  After having the breakfast at the hotel, Start trekking to holy town of Katra is the starting point of the 14 km (approx.) trek to the holy shrine of Mata Vaishno Devi Jee, After the Darshan return back to the Hotel in the evening, Stay overnight at Hotel in Katra

• Day 4 : Katra-Patnitop (80 Kms)

  After having the breakfast at the hotel, leave for the beautiful hills of Patnitop, at an altitude of 2024 m, across which the Jammu-Srinagar highway passes. Patnitop offers beautiful picnic spots, peaceful walks and breathtaking views of the valley of the Chenab basin. Check in the hotel, After relaxing go for local sightseeing which includes Nag Temple and excursion to Nathatop etc. Day at leisure to enjoy the natural beauty. Stay overnight at Hotel in Patnitop.

• Day 5 : Patnitop-Srinagar

  After having the breakfast at the hotel, and drive to Srinagar, pride of the beautiful valley of Kashmir famous for its lakes dotted with Shikaras and the Mughal Gardens. Check in the Hotel. Stay overnight at Houseboat in Srinagar.

• Day 6 : Srinagar-Local sightseeing:

  After having the breakfast at the hotel, leave for Mughal Gardens visiting Nishat Bagh (Abode of pleasure) and Shalimar Bagh (Abode of love). All the gardens are situated on the bank of Dal Lake with the Zabarwan Mountains in the background. The distance from Srinagar to the said gardens is about 12 and 15 kms respectively. Evening back for Lake rides by Shikara to visit Floating Gardens, Lotus Gardens. Stay overnight at Houseboat in Srinagar.

• Day 7 : Srinagar-Gulmarg-Srinagar (112 Kms)

  After having the breakfast at the hotel, leave for Gulmarg (Meadow of Flowers) 2730 mts. above the sea level. The distance of 60 kms will be covered in about 2 hours. Gulmarg has one of the best ski slopes in the world and highest golf course with 18 holes. Also enjoy cable car (Gondola) for mountain ride upto khilangmarg. You can have a pony ride (By own Cost) in the open fields to Visits seven springs and to a Alpather lake, which remains frozen until June, Return back to Srinagar. Stay overnight at Hotel in Srinagar.

• Day 8 : Srinagar-Sonmarg-Srinagar (168 Kms)

  After having the breakfast at the hotel, Full day excursion to Sonmarg (Meadows of Gold), Sonmarg lies in Sindh Valley streamed with flowers, surrounded by mountains and perched at an altitude of 2690 m above sea level. You may take one can have a pony ride to visit Thajiwas Glacier where snow remains round the year the major attraction at Sonamarg in summer months, Sonamarg is known as Gateway of Leh – Ladakh. Return back to Srinagar. Stay overnight at Hotel in Srinagar.

• Day 9 : Srinagar-Pahalgam (186 Kms)

  After having the breakfast at the hotel, and drive to Pahalgam 2440 Mtrs (Vale of Kashmir) on the way visit Saffron fields and Avantipur ruins which is eleven hundred years old temple. Later walk along pony trails with a magnificent view of the mountains, and can go to Chandanwadi, village ardu and others (Sightseeing By Horse Ride), Finally by the lunch time you will reach Pahalgam which is the most famous place for Indian Film Industry. After lunch enjoy the nature charm of the valley. Stay overnight at Hotel in Pahalgam.
