The Alaska Railroad's premium class of service offers passengers an exceptional way to travel across Alaska. Glass-dome ceilings allow for panoramic views as Alaska unfolds along the tracks, and an outdoor, upper-level viewing platform - the only of its kind in the world - offers fresh air and an excellent vantage point for photos. On the lower level of GoldStar railcars, passengers enjoy a full-service dining room; GoldStar tickets include meals, all soft beverages and two complimentary adult beverages per trip for passengers over 21.

Baggage service is available. Each ticketed passenger may check two pieces of luggage. The luggage weight limit is 50 pounds per bag. The baggage fee for bikes, excess, oversized, and overweight bags is .00 per item. One carry-on item is allowed per person. Carry-on bags may not exceed 15" x 14" x 6". Please remember to carry on medications, cameras or other items that you will need during your train ride.
Tour packages that are canceled 36 or more days before travel will be refunded 90% of the booking value. No refunds will be issued 35 or less days before travel.
Duration: 5-days/5-nights
Day 1 :
Arrive in Anchorage and overnight.
Day 2 :
Depart for Talkeetna aboard the Denali Star Train. Upon arrival in Talkeetna, take a flight-seeing tour of Denali and the Alaska Range. See walls and rivers of ice and North America's highest peak. Overnight in Talkeetna.
Day 3 :
In Talkeetna, take a jetboat ride 130 miles round trip into the National Wild River Park of Devil's Gorge. Tour includes lunch. Later, return to Anchorage on the Denali Star Train. Overnight in Anchorage.
Day 4 :
Depart early on the Coastal Classic Train to Seward. Upon arrival, embark on a cruise into Kenai Fjords National Park. See hanging and tidewater glaciers, sea otters, sea lions and perhaps even a humpback whale. Lunch is included. Overnight at the Seward Windsong Lodge.
Day 5 :
Today, enjoy the Real Alaska Tour, which includes a dog sled ride, lunch at an Alaska roadhouse and a visit to Exit Glacier. Depart for Anchorage aboard the Coastal Classic Train. Watch for moose. Overnight in Anchorage.
