Package Overview

The Andaman and Nicobar Islands, located in the east of the Indian mainland geographically, float in splendid isolation in the Bay of Bengal. Once a hill range extending from Myanmar to Indonesia, these picturesque undulating islands, islets numbering around 556, are covered with dense damp and evergreen forests and endless varieties of exotic flora and fauna. Most of these islands are in the Andaman Group, 24 of which are inhabited. In the Nicobar group 13 islands are inhabited. The Andaman and Nicobars are separated by the Ten Degree Channel which is 150 Kms. wide.These islands also boast of freedom fighting days, historically significant landmarks viz. Cellular Jail, Ross Island, Viper Island, Hopetown and Mount Harriet. The Andaman and Nicobar Islands have been declared as two of the 218 endemic bird area of the world. As many as 270 species and sub-species of birds have been reported existing in these islands, 106 of them being endemic. The Andaman Wood Pigeon, Andaman Padauk and Dugong are declared as State Bird, State Tree and State Animal respectively. There are about 96 Wildlife Sanctuaries, nine National Parks and one Biosphere Reserve in the islands. Mahatma Gandhi Marine National Park is the best known sanctuary. These islands are blessed with the bounties of both south-west and north-east monsoons.

Day wise Itinerary

• Day 1 : Arrival in Port Blair

  Upon Arrival our representative will receive and escort you to the Hotel and stay-rest. At afternoon your first Itinerary will be Chatham Saw mill- once the biggest saw mill in Asia.Next Itinerary will be Samudrika museum- This is a museum showcases all types of marine life found in these islands, including the skeleton of Blue whales. Then you visit Anthropological museum maintained and managed by ASI, Anthropological Survey of India, It is an exquisite small museum showcasing wide collection of tools and weapons used by Anadamanese tribes. Fisheries museum-It has 350 different species of marine life. The different kinds of marine life on display have been collected from the Bay of Bengal and the Indo-Pacific Ocean. Your next Itinerary will be Carbyn's cove beachabout 7 kms from Port Blair. This coconut palm fringed beach, is ideal for swimming. Later proceed to the National Monument the Cellular Jail - a place of pilgrimage for all freedom loving people in the evening move the history of the heroic freedom struggle which is brought alive in a moving Light and Sound Show at the Cellular Jail, which takes you back to the British Era. Overnight stay at Port Blair.

• Day 2 : Port Blair- Ross Island

  After breakfast, you will escort to Andaman Water Sports Complex to start the voyage begins in a boat towards Ross Island - the erstwhile capital of Port Blair during the British Regimes. . This island is an ideal destination for nature walk amidst sylvan surroundings with deer's, peacocks and exotic birds. The Island presently houses the ruins of old building like Chief Commissioner's house, Government houses, Church, Bakery, Press, Swimming pool, etc. and then for an enthralling journey to North Bay Island (Coral Island) offering exotic coral and underwater marine life which can be viewed through Glass Bottom Boats, scuba Diving, under water sea walk facility (optional activity) . Overnight stay at Port Blair.

• Day 3 : Port Blair- Neil Island-Havelock

  Early morning depart to Neil Island by Ferry - This beautiful island with lush green forest and sandy beaches is the vegetable bowl of Andamans, it provides an ideal holiday for eco-friendly tourists. Beautiful beaches at Laxmanpur and Bharatpur. Afternoon departure to Havelock Island by ferryboat an hour's journey. After your arrival at Havelock Island you will visit the famous Radhanagar Beach - it is Asia's No.7 beach rated by Times Magazines. Experience trilogy of yourself, sun and the sea like never before take rest and have a leisure time. Overnight stay at Havelock Island.
• Day 4 : Havelock Island - Elephant Beach

  After breakfasts proceed to Elephant Beach 40 min. by speed boat, there you can enjoy Snorkeling & one can see the natural corals alive. Afternoon have a lunch, then board a cruise Port Blair. Overnight stay at Port Blair.

• Day 5 : Port Blair- Baratang

  Early morning depart from Port Blair for Baratang - about 100 km by road from Port Blair. Baratang provides an ideal place for the eco-friendly tourist seeking the solitude of virgin nature. The land route from Port Blair (4.5 hour drive by Car/Bus) involves crossing of creeks and dense tropical rain forests. Reach Baratang Island and board Fibre boat ride to reach Lime Stone cave passing through the mangroves forest. Return to Port Blair.At last Visit Sagarika government emporium for some local shopping for your dear ones. Evening at leisure.
• Day 6 : Depart from Port Blair - Airport

  This morning after breakfast, transfer to the airport to board your return flight back home. Arrive home with wonderful memories
