After breakfast depart from Arusha to Tarangire National Park for a full day of wildlife viewing. Enjoy a full day game drive through savannah, seasonal swamps and landscapes dotted with iconic baobab trees. Full day exploring Tarangire National Park with game drives focused around the Tarangire River and Silale Swamp areas. The guide will select routes based on wildlife activity and seasonal conditions to maximize sightings and photography opportunities, including birdwatching. Morning departure toward the Ngorongoro Conservation Area crossing scenic highland landscapes. Depending on the final itinerary there may be optional cultural or local experiences en route. Arrive at accommodation near the crater rim in the Ngorongoro highlands and enjoy spectacular crater rim views. Overnight at a Ngorongoro area lodge or camp with breakfast, lunch and dinner.

Early descent into the Ngorongoro Crater for a full day game drive on the crater floor. Search for lions, elephants, buffaloes, zebras, wildebeest, hippos, hyenas and the endangered black rhinoceros. Enjoy a picnic lunch in the designated area before continuing the game drive and then ascend back to the rim in the afternoon. Overnight at a Ngorongoro area lodge or camp with all main meals provided.
