Day wise Itinerary

Day 1 Guwahati airport / Rly Stn– Kaziranga (250 Kms / 5 Hrs Drive)

Arrival at Guwahati airport or Rly station & drive to Kaziranga. Check in Hotel. Overnight at Kaziranga.

Day 2 Kaziranga

Early morning go for Elephant ride in the park. (Elephant riding time: 1st Ride- 5.15-6.15 AM; 2nd ride: 6.30-7.30 am/ As per availability) Return for Breakfast. After breakfast free for leisure or you can visit tea plantations, rubber plantations. After lunch Jeep safari in the Central Range. Overnight at Kaziranga.

Day 3 Kaziranga – Dirang (260 Kms / 7 Hrs)

After breakfast drive to Dirang. Enroute visit Tippi Orchid Centre, Hot Water Spring. Check in Hotel. Overnight at Dirang.

Day 4 Dirang – tawang (155 Kms / 6 Hrs)

Jaswant Garh War Memorial

Morning drive to Tawang. Enroute witness the snowcapped Sella Pass at ft and the Jaswant Garh War Memorial. (Legend has it that Jaswant (Mahavir Chakra Awardee (Posthumous) of 4th Battalion Garhwal Rifles), fought a lone battle against the invading Chinese during the 1962 war. His spirit is still believed to protect the place). Overnight in Tawang.

Day 5 Tawang

Tawang - The beautiful land of the Monpa tribes with the “GALDEN NAMGYAL LHATSE” Monastery - one of the largest Lamaseries of Mahayana sect in Asia. The birth place of the 6th Dalai Lama, the Monastery is 400 year old and is adorned with the 18 feet high statue of Lord Buddha. ‘The Land of Dawn-lit Mountains’ at 3500 mts gives you unparallel purity of nature. Visit the monastery and the War Memorial. Evening free for shopping. Overnight in Tawang.

Day 6 Tawang

Full day trip to Madhuri Lake & Bumla Pass subject to permission granted by DC office, Tawang. Overnight at Tawang.

Early morning after breakfast drive to Bomdila. Check in Hotel. Later visit Bomdila Monastery. Overnight in Bomdila.

Today morning after breakfast @ 8 AM, start for full day local sightseeing including visit to Navagraha Temple, Umananda Temple, and State Zoo. Evening enjoy sunset River cruise over the river Brahmaputra (Cruise is subject to weather conditions & availability, PAYMENT WILL BE DIRECT). Overnight in Guwahati.
