Package Overview

Baobab and lemurs is a trip of 5 days and 4 nights in the west of Madagascar, with its warm and dry climate. The sceneries and the wildlife of this region are UNIQUE and worth to see.
From Morondava, drive toward the world-famous Baobab Avenue begin , the most photographed place all over Madagascar. Then discover the Kirindy private reserve with its very high endemism rate of reptile. Other wildlife is abundant as well and waits to be discovered : fosa, mongoose, sifakas, birds… and giant jumping rats for the luckiest.

Day wise Itinerary

• Day 1 : Arrival - Antananarivo

  Our team will welcome you at the international airport of Antananarivo, the capital of Madagascar. Then transfer in your hotel. Accommodation on Bed and Breakfast basis at Palissandre.
• Day 2 : Antananarivo – Morondava

  Breakfast at hotel. According to the internal flight, transfer to the airport and take your flight to Morondava. Once we land, we would do a city tour and visit the Vezo fishermen village of Betania. The Vezo are semi-nomadic coastal people of southern Madagascar that have become accustomed to live from sea fishing. Enjoy the beach of the Mozambique Channel while watching the traditional sailing boats passing. Accommodation on Half Board basis in your hotel for 2 nights at Palissandre Cote Ouest.
• Day 3 : Morondava

  We leave Morondava early to have a pass through the alley of baobabs and take advantage of the sunrise light. We head to the Kirindy reserve, home of the Fosa, the largest mammal carnivore in Madagascar. After spending some time in the Kirindy forest in the morning, we leave the park and we enter the world famous alley of Baobabs before dawn continuing to Morondava.
• Day 4 : Morondava – Antananarivo

  After the breakfast, transfer to the airport of Morondava and flight to Antananarivo. Meeting at the airport. Possibility to do a city tour of Antananarivo depending on the flight schedule, its colorful life, its history and architecture. We will walk through the busy and vibrant streets of the capital. We will start in the lower city, walk through the avenue of Independence, and visit the Analakely market, the famous stairs of Antananarivo to reach the business center of the capital. Finally We visit of the Palace of the Queen before ending our day with a beautiful sundowner overlooking the city. Accommodation on bed and Breakfast basis in hotel for 2 at Palissandre.
• Day 5 : Antananarivo - Out

  Breakfast at the hotel. Possibility to do shopping at la digue market before the transfer to the airport. Check in and fly back to Nairobi.
