On arrival at the airport take a transfer to the houseboats. On reaching there, check-in at the respective houseboats. Relax, unpack and enjoy the rest of the day at leisure. The evening is reserved for a Shikara ride on the Dal Lake (on direct payment basis). Stay overnight at the houseboat at the Dal Lake, a unique and gratifying experience.

After breakfast, checck out from the Houseboat and proceed to hotel. On arrival check into the hotel and visit the Shankaracharya Hill Temple and grand Mughal Gardens (Chashme Shahi, Nishat Bagh & Shalimar Bagh). The sacred Shankaracharya Temple, also known as Jyeshteswara, occupies the top of the hills (about 1,000 feet above the surrounding Takht-I-Sulaiman plains in the south-east of Srinagar). Indulge in some shopping for you and for friends back home, at various Kashmiri art and craft stores. Return to your Srinagar hotel for an overnight stay.

After breakfast go to Gulmarg (2650 meters above the sea level). Spend the day sightseeing at the picturesque sceneries everywhere around you. You can take the exhilarating cable-car ride to Khilanmarg or Apharwat Snow Point (Cable car ride and Pony ride are not included in the package). After what will prove to be a soul-refreshing day, come back to your hotel in Srinagar for an overnight stay.

After breakfast, spend the day at leisure or go for a day-long excursion to Sonamarg ('Meadow of Gold'), if you wish to. Ride up to the glacier on a pony (ponies can be hired directly). After making the best of the day, return to your hotel in Srinagar for an overnight stay.

Pack your bags and after breakfast at the hotel, get transferred to the Srinagar Airport to board your flight back home. It is advisable to leave for the Srinagar airport at least 3 hours before the flight time.
