Day wise Itinerary

• Day 1 : Arrive at IXB/ NJP/ shiliguri

  Arrive at IXB/ NJP/ shiliguri-Leave for Manebhanjan reach at Manebhanjan around 3-4 pm. The name Sandakphu means the 'Height of the Poison Plant', a direct reference to the profusion of the poisonous aconite plants that grow near the peak. The loftiest peak of the Singalila Range, it is the culminating point of many trekking routes in the Darjeeling-Sikkim region.At an altitude of 3,636 m, Sandakphu is located at a distance of 58 km. from Darjeeling. Trek to Sandakphu starts from Maneybhanjan, a small town near Darjeeling. Maneybhanjan can be reached from Siliguri via Ghoom / Darjeeling. Sandakphu epitomises the wild elemental grandeur of the snows. Nature here is at her pristine best, and the vista at the top is worth all the hardship endured on the way. Aptly called the Paradise of Trekkers, the peak is a vantage point from where one can see four of the world's five highest peaks - Everest, Kanchenjunga, Makalu and Lhotse - in a continuous snow-clad arc.The place is resplendent with the ethereal beauty of magnolias, rhododendrons, primulas and other sub-alpine flowers. It also contains more than 600 varieties of orchids, the largest to be found in a single geographical area in the world. Maneybhanjan, at an altitude of 2134 mtr, is the gateway to the Sandakphu region. You can visit here any time of the year.O/N at Manebhanjan.

• Day 2 : Sandakphu - Gairibas

  start in early morning at 6am for gairibas (total 21 km of walk) - Breakfast at Tonglu(11 km from maneybhanjan)- then to gairibas (10 km from tonglu). rest for the next day at Hotel.
• Day 3 : Sandakphu Sightseeing

  start in early morning at 6am for sandakphu (total 10 km of walk, with high steep climb) - via kalipokhari for breakfast. aprrox 4-5 hrs can take. Rest and enjoying the heavenly experience ;) Over Night at Hotel.
• Day 4 : Sandakphu-Phalut

  Start early morning at 6am for Phalut (23 km of walk), will take 5 hrs normally, not that much steep climb. overnight stay at Phalut.
• Day 5 : Rimbik

  Start early morning at 6am for Rimbik, painful descend awaits here. but it is the last trek. overnight at Rimbik trekkers hut or Hotel.
• Day 6 : Departure

  Start in early morning at 6am for Darjeeling (3-4 hr). Afternoon transfer from Darjeeling to NJP (3-4 hr). Tour End.
