Description
At day 1 trekkers begin the trek from sankari to judakatal. Trekkers enjoy dense forests of oak, pine, rhododendron, Indian horse chestnuts, maple, walnut, deodar etc. one also enjoys beautiful small meadows along with wild animals like Himalayan black bear, leopard, wild pigs etc. One also enjoys serene view of mountains like Swargarohini peak, vijay top, harkidun peaks etc.
At day 2 trekkers begin the trek from judakatal to Dunda thatch. During the trek trekkers enjoy the beautiful views of Himalayas like Harkidun valley, Swargarohini peak, DAudu peak, Banderpoonch peak,Yamunotri valley, Rupin-Supin valley, Khimloga pass etc.
At day 3 trekkers begin the trek from dunda thatch to pushtara thatch via phulara ridge. During the trek trekkers pass through the Phulara ridge which is a breath-taking experience and consists of several panoramic views of Great Himalayas. The trail consists of large meadows which have a plenty of flora and fauna. The sunset at pushtara thatch is awesome. This location is best for star watching at night .
At day4 trekkers get a view of beautiful sunrise from pushtara thatch. From there the trek begins its last day journey to taluka and to sankari. The trail has gorgeous bedsheet of green grass with a variety of flowers. Bird watching is very exquisite experience during the trail.
