Description
At day 1 the morning opens at Jakhol Village. Jakhol village is the famous location known as Little Venice. Many movies and albums had been shot at this village. From here trekkers head to Baincha. From Baincha trekkers head to Obara. During trail trekkers get beautiful scene of organic farms, dense forest of oaks, rhododendron etc and small meadows. Trekkers enjoy bird watching and river crossing. On reaching Obara trekkers enjoy beautiful campsite and a small Temple of Goddess Obara devi.
At day2 trek starts from Obara to Bheva. During the trail trekkers enjoy panoramic view of Obaragad, dense forests, flora and fauna. Bird watching is exquisite benefit during the trek. Birds like Monal, Vulture, Griffon, Sparrow, Setauli etc are worth watching. Trail also have beautiful meadows with a vast variety of wild animals and beautiful flowers. On arriving Bheva trekkers enjoy serene view of campsite situated at river side with cool breeze.
At day 3 trek begins from Bheva to Devkyara bugyal. This day of trek is the best part of this trek. The trail passes through riverside due to which trekkers don’t feel fatigue. On arriving Devkyara trekkers get a heavenly experience like they have arrived to god’s garden. From devkyara trekkers have 3600 view of peaks around Devkyara like Ranglana Peak, Daudu peak, Devkyara peak etc. There trekkers can watch wild animals like Ghoral, Blue Sheep, Snow Leopeard, Black Bear etc at a very nearby distance.
At day 4 trek starts with steep descent from Devkyara Bugyal to Himri.
The trail passes through riverside due to which trekkers don’t feel fatigue. Trekkers have a quite different experience while coming down then to going up. Himri has small meadows with small bushes situated all along.
At day 5 trek starts from Himri to baincha. At Himri trekkers have a very late sunrise so climate remains always alike. During the trek trekkers can see small temples of different gods and goddesses. On arriving Baincha trekkers enjoy the beauty of SANGAM of two main tributaries of river Yamuna river the Obaragad and Khimloga river. From there the birth of Supin river takes place. At evening trekkers can see local villagers of nearby villages passing through.
