Bhavnagar Excursion Tour

Blackbuck National Park: Black Buck National Park is situated in Velavadar, at a distance of 72 km from Bhavnagar. It was established in the year 1976 and spread over an area of 34.08 sq. km. This national park is a grassland ecosystem. The main attraction of this park is the type of flat land, dry grasses and herds of antelopes.

Palitana Jain Temples: Palitana is situated at a distance of 62 km from Blackbuck National Park. This place is famous as an important Jain Pilgrimage site of Gujarat. The Shatrunjay Hill which is located nearby this site is the house for approximately 900 big and small Jain Temples. The temples located on this hill are dedicated to the 24 Jain Tirthankarars.

Shihor: This site houses an old palace of Maharaja of Bhavnagar. This palace is well-known for its ancient glory and is decorated with sprawling gardens, artistic wall paintings and woodcarvings.

Khodiyar Mata: Khodiyar Mata was the family Goddess of the rulers of the former Bhavnagar State. There is a shrine located in the temple which is dedicated to the Goddess. The shrine boasts of beautiful architectural beauty and presents breathtaking sites.
Later in the evening, you will be taken to visit another excursion site "Mahuva":

Mahuva: Mahuva is a small town which is the most visited tourist place. The greenery and natural beauty of the town makes it the most charming place near Bhavnagar. This town enjoys a pleasant climate throughout the year as "Gulf of Khambhat" is very close to Mahuva. One can enjoy at the beach and can visit the ancient "Bhavani Temple" which attracts a huge number of tourists.
