Day wise Itinerary

  • Day 1 : ARRIVE PARO - THIMPHU

    Upon Arrival, Warm Welcome from Bhutanese Representatives. Visit to Kyichu Temple Which Dates Back to the 7th Century. Kyichu Temple is One of the Last Three Surviving Temples. in the 7th Century 108 such Temples Were Built By a Tibetan King. to Date Only Three have Survived, Two in Bhutan and One in Tibet, Known as the Jokhang.& Rinpung Dzong - It Houses the District Monastic Body and Government Administrative Offices of Paro District Later Proceed for the Drive to Thimphu & Visit Trashicho Dzong Stands On Left Side of Thimphu. this Dzong is the Home of the Main Secretariat of the Government, Offices of the King, Ministries of Home Affairs and Finance and also the Throne of His Majesty, the King of Bhutan.   • Day 2 : THIMPHU

    Tour Begins with Visit Kuensel Phodrang (buddha Point), the Siting Buddha Statue is 167 Feet High and Situated On Top of a Hill Overlooking the City of Thimpu. National Institute for Zorig Chusumthis Institute, Commonly Known as 'the Painting School', Operates Four- to Six-year Courses that Provide Instruction in Bhutan's 13 Traditional Arts. Students Specialise in Painting (furniture, Thangkas – Painted Religious Pictures, Usually On Canvas), Woodcarving (masks, Statues, Bowls), Embroidery (hangings, Boots, Clothes) or Statue-making (clay). Folk Heritage Museum this Museum Provides Glimpse Into the Traditional Bhutanese Life. the Artifacts Which are Kept Inside the House Remind the Visitors About How the Rural Bhutanese Live Today.

    We Take a Morning Drive to Trongsa in Central Bhutan Over the Black Mountains and Pele La Pass (3300 M or 10825 Ft.). the Drive Takes 7 Hours and Packed Lunch is Prepared for the Journey. Tour Highlight is the Trongsa Dzong Founded in 1543, a Masterpiece of Architecture Containing a Maze of Courtyards, Passageways, Corridors and Additional 23 Temples.   • Day 4 : Trongsa – Gangtey – Phobjikha – Punakha

    We Head Back Towards Punakha Stopping By the Important Cultural, Historical and Natural Sites Enroute. Packed Lunch is Again Prepared for the Journey. the First Stop is At Gantgey Gompa (monastery) Perched Atop a Small Hill that Arises from the Floor of Phobjikha Valley. the Valley of Phobjikha, Home of the Migratory Black-necked Crane (winter Season) is One of the Most Beautiful Spots in Bhutan.   • Day 5 : PUNAKHA – THIMPHU – PARO

    We Take a Morning Drive to Punakha the Old Capital of Bhutan to Visit Punakha Dzong(fort) Built in 1637 By Shabdrung Ngawang Namgyel, the Most Famous Name in Bhutanese History.

    enroot Visit Chimilhakhang, the Auspicious Fertility Monastery Built in 1949. Walk Through Paddy and Mustard Fields of the Temples, Which is Located On Top of a Small Hill.

    after Lunch Proceeding to Thimphu Over the Dochu La Pass Where We Stop for Some Tea and View the Eastern Himalayas. Druk Wangyal Chortens. this Hill of 108 Religious Buildings in the Middle of the Pass Reflects Bhutan’s Spiritual and Artistic Traditions. Continue Your Drive to Punakha Valley.   • Day 6 : PARO

    You Will have An Early Breakfast and Walk About 2 Hours to Taktshang Monastery Perched Giddily On a Rocky Ledge, with a Waterfall Cascading as if from the Blue. Taktshang Means ‘tiger’s Nest’. Guru Padmasambhava, Known as the Second Buddha, Alighted from Flying Tigress and Meditated At this Shrine in the Second Half of the 8th Century. as a Result, It is the Dream Destination for Buddhist Pilgrims from the World Over. if Desired, Pony Ridings Would Be Arranged. Way Back, Visit Drukgyel Dzong, a Victory Fortress of the 17th Century. Although in Ruins, this Dzong is Preserved for Its Great Historical Importance.

    later Visit to Local Farm House to See How Bhutanese Farmers Live and have Chance to Taste the Local Rice Wine “ara”. Experience & Learn the Making of the Famous Local Dish (emadatshi) Local Cheese with Chill’s;later Visit the Local Market of Paro Town for Last Minute Shopping.
