Day 1

Chandigarh to Narkanda: (175 KM /5-6 Hrs)

Pickup from Chandigarh Airport / Railway Station / Bus Stand by exclusive vehicle. Drive to Narkanda, Narkanda is 175 Kilometres from Chandigarh and will take 5-6 hours to reach. Enjoy the Scenic Himalayas from the window of your cab. Check in to the hotel. O/N/S.

Day 2

Narkanda to Sangla: ( 161 kM / 5 HRS)

Drive to Sangla through the thick woods of Narkanda and alongside the River Sutlej. If you reach Tapri at lunch time then don’t forgot to have food at kangri dhaba. On the way you can enjoy beautiful lake hydro project at karcham dam. In the evening reach and check in hotel. Enjoy the evening in beautiful surroundings in the river valley of Baspa at a height of 9000ft. This is one of the most beautiful valleys in the Himalayas and is often compared to the famous valley of Kashmir. Known for its rich Kinnauri culture and apple orchards, this valley was opened for tourists only in 1993 for its close proximity to the Tibetien border. O/N Hotel.

Day 3

Sangla- Chhitkul- Sangla (Stay) (3 HOURS /40 KM) Hrs:

Kamru Fort

After B/F, explore the vicinity around including an ancient Kamru Fort & Temple dedicated to the Goddess Kamakhya Devi which was brought from Assam & Nages God. Post Lunch, excursion to Chitkul – a last Village on Old Indo – Tibetan Trade Route. Walk through green orchards & brilliant stream. Return back to Sangla for Dinner & O/N stay.

Day 4

Sangla to Kalpa: (4 HOURS/49 KM.) 2670 Mtrs :

After B/F, check-out from the Hotel & drive to Kalpa – District Headquarter of Kinnor & once a favourite haunt of LordDalhousie. Arrive Kalpa & Check-in to your Hotel. Kalpa was known as Chini back in the days when it was the Regional Capital. Kalpa has changed little in the last 500 years. It is said that as & when Lord Dalhousie wanted to take a break from his hectic schedule in Shimla, he would come here on his Horseback. Each & every corner of Kalpa facing Jokinen & the Kinner Kailash Peaks, considered as one of the mythical homes of Lord Shiva & by its side is a 79-foot rock formation that resembles a Shivlinga that changes the colour as the day passes & is visible to the naked eye on a clear day. Post Lunch rest in Hotel & in evening visit to Buddhist Gompa – Hu Bu Lan Kar. Dinner & O/N stay.

Day 5

Kalpa

Early morning enjoy the Sunrise over Kinner Kailash Peaks. After breakfast Kalpa is famous for its Apples & Chilgoza Plantations [a kind of Dry Fruits], which are found only in Iran & Turkey besides here. The tree belongs to the Pine Family & the fruit is in about an inch long soft cover. Visit to local School & Narayan Nagini Temple Complex, which has Shrines of Hindu, Buddhist & local Deities. Return back to Kalpa. Dinner & O/N stay.

Day 6

Kalpa – Sarahan- Shimla (230 KM/ 10 Hrs)

Bhimakali Temple

After breakfast checkout from hotel and drive to Shimla on the way visit Sarahan (Sarahan is a small village in Himachal Pradesh of India. It is the site of the Bhimakali Temple, originally known as Bhimadevi Temple (Bhīmā Kālī), dedicated to the mother goddess Bhimakali, presiding deity of the rulers of the former Bushahr State). O/N Shimla Hotel.

Day 7

Shimla to Chandigarh: (125 KM / 4 Hrs)

After breakfast checkout from hotel and drive to Chandigarh. Drop at Chandigarh Airport/Railway Station.
