Pick up from Haridwar Railway Station, direct leave for Barkot via Mussoorie. En route visit Kempty fall. Upon arrival check in into the hotel, rest of the day is at leisure. Dinner and overnight stay at Barkot. Acclimatize yourself to start a trek to Yamnotri from JanakiChatti.

YAMUNOTRI: Yamunotri temple is dedicated to Goddess Yamuna. Yamunotri is the source of revered river Yamuna which originates from the Champasar Glacier lying 1 km ahead of the shrine situated at an elevation of 3235 mts above sea level. The approach is extremely difficult and pilgrims therefore offer Pooja at the temple itself. Yamunotri was the home of an ancient sage Asit Muni. The most important of these is Surya Kund. DivyaShila: A rock pillar, worshiped before entering the Yamunotri Temple.

Departure to Hanumanchatti (32 kms / 1.5 hrs). Later take a local jeep to Janakichatti to shorten your trek by 5 Kms. Proceed to Yamunotri temple by walk / pony / doli. Return to Barkot. Overnight stay.

Yamunotri here can cook rice in GaramPanikund. Tourist take this cooked rice to home as "Prasad". "Pooja" can be offered to DivyaShila, after taking bath in JamunabaiKund's (HOT WATER) and having "Darshan" of pious "Yamunaji”.

Early Morning start driving to Gangotri via Harshil. Upon arrival at Gangotri, take a Holy Dip in the sacred Ganges.Offering prayers &poojadarshan, later drive back to Uttarkashi, en route visit Gangnani.Overnight stay at Gangnani/ Uttarkashi.

GANGOTRI: Gangotri temple is 18th Century temple dedicated to Goddess Ganga. It is located near a sacred stone where king Bhagirath worshipped Lord Shiva Ganga is believed to have touched earth at this spot.

GANGNANI: Further up on way to Gangotri, is the hot water spring at Gangnani, where one can have refreshing bath in the kund called Rishikund. There is a temple near the kund dedicated to the Sage Parashar, believed to be the father of VedVyas.

Early hours proceed to Sonprayag (4 Kms.) then to Gaurikund (5 Kms.) by Govt. Jeep. and later Proceed to Kedarnath (17 Kms.). After Darshan / Pooja at Temple, return to hotel. Overnight stay.

Pilgrims by Helicopter: Early morning proceed to Sirsi / Phata / Guptakashi Helipad to Kedarnath Helipad. Later, proceed to Kedarnath Temple by walk (1 Km.). After Darshan / Pooja at Temple, return to Helipad to board the Helicopter back to hotel. Overnight stay.

KEDARNATH TEMPLE: The present temple built in 8th Century A.D. by Adi Guru Shankaracharya lies adjacent to the site of an ancient temple built by Pandavas. The temple has a conical lingam – the main idol, a statue of Nandi – the celestial bull, a ‘GarbaGrah’ for worship and a man dap for assemblies of pilgrims an d visitors. The temple is more than 1000 years old.

Badrinath: Cradled in the twin Mountain ranges of Nar and Narayan is the holiest of the four main shrines – Badrinath along the left bank of river Alaknanda with the towering Neelkantha Peaks as the splendid backdrop.
Mana Village: Inhabited by an Indo-Mongolian tribe, it is the last Indian village before Tibet. The women of the village offer Choli to the deity on closing day of the temple each year.

Vyas Gufa (cave): Near Mana Village, this is a rock-cave where VedVyas is believed to have composed the Mahabharata and the pauranic commentaries.
