Chhatisgarh Tribal Tour

Welcome to your "The Best of Chhattishgarh & Orissa" visit ! On landing our delegate will help at Raipur airport and exchange to Bhoramdeo Jungle Retreat. They will be dealt with to a society move at night which will be emulated by refreshments and supper.

The Guests will first visit towns of the Gonds and Baiga tribes with cookout lunch, and afterward the charming Bhoramdeo Temple.

After breakfast our Guests will begin for Barnawapara Sanctuary in transit going by the old Buddhist removal site at Sirpur. There will be a night safari.

Emulating a morning safari and a late breakfast our Guests will begin for Kanker Palace. They will be received at Kanker Palace with a conventional welcome. Once invigorated the Guests will be entertained by Chhattisgarhi society musical artists over drinks and predinner snacks. Parts of the regal family will go along with them to impart their experiences into the life of the locale.

After breakfast the Guests will be determined up the slowing down of Keshkal for some stupendous perspectives of the tropical wilderness beneath. Later they will visit the town of the Deer-Horn Muria tribe and get a sight of the Ghotul System. Here one could appreciate some heavenly town nourishment with neighborhood flavor. Later they will get a chance to watch and appreciate tribal life up-close when they will visit a tribal haat (market).

After breakfast the Guests will leave for Jagdalpur, the largest town and nerve center of Bastar. Lunch would be packed and can be had in our secret spot in the jungle. Though the three hour long journey will itself be a treasure-trove of vignettes from tribal life, they will make a short detour midway to visit the tribal craft communities of Kondagaon. (Bell Metal, Wrought Iron and Terracotta) They could visit one of the tribal markets and watch a cockfight there. Boarding and lodging at Jagdalpur will be arranged at Bastar Jungle Resort.

Our Guests would begin investigating this tribal land by going by the renowned Bison-Horn Maria tribe known for their weaving, move and friendliness. Later they could visit the rich timberland of Kanger Valley National Park and its attractions (which incorporate the Kailash holes or the spouting waterfalls of Tirathgarh). On their path back one could get a sight of a week after week haat (contingent upon the time).

The Guests could use the first 50% of the day investigating the headquarter of Bastar, Jagdalpur, once capital of one of India's biggest past regal states. A visit to the Anthropological Museum and some specialty focuses will be the fascination of the day. After lunch at a lodging one could visit a nearby tribal haat and the renowned Chitrakote waterfalls, one of the nation's biggest

The Guests will leave for Rayagada (Odisha). This drive will be along the Eastern Ghats, which have some beautiful scene. On landing they will be registered with a fancy inn ( must be Tuesday so as to visit the Dongaria Kond tribal market following day)

Early morning, a drive of about an hour and a half would take them to town called Chhattikona. Here is one of India's most remote and un-spoilt markets of the Dongaria Kond tribe, who sport a standout amongst the most different hair dresses and adornments. The Guests will come back to the inn for lunch and leave for Jeypore from there on.

The Guests will keep on driing along the ghats as they will visit the gay and brilliant markets of the primitive Bondo Tribe. They will return for lunch to the inn and afterward drive to Vishakapatnam.
