Meet the chimps on your visit to the Jane Goodall Institute Chimpanzee Eden. The Sanctuary is home to chimps that have been misplaced from their natural habitats in Africa. Every visitor coming through the gate will contribute to the rescue of another chimpanzee. The goal of the Institute is to rescue chimpanzees that have survived the bush meat trade; been orphaned and are traded in the illegal pet trade to zoos and circuses. These chimps are the lucky ones that have been rescued. Cost: R 1 500.00 per person (minimum 2 people).
