Day wise Itinerary

Day 1 : Franschhoek Valley

You will be met at Mpumalanga Airport and transferred to your hotel on the scenic Panorama Route.

Check into your hotel in this beautiful region.
Day 2 : Hazyview Elephant Sanctuary

This morning we recommend a visit to Hazyview Elephant Sanctuary to experience a very special close-up encounter with these gentle giants.

Afternoon is at leisure to relax at your lodge, or enjoy other optional activities on offer.
Day 3 : Panorama Route

At leisure to relax on the beautiful Panorama Route.

You can tour the Blyde River Canyon, visit a Wildlife Rehabilitation Centre or the Chimpanzee Sanctuary near Nelspruit. Other optional activities include a treetop canopy tour, championship golf, horse riding, fly fishing, white water rafting or a hot air balloon ride. Or simply relax at the lodge and enjoy the wonderful bird life.
Day 4 : Mpumalanga

This morning transfer 3-hours from the Panorama Route to your Mpumalanga Game Reserve

After checking into your lodge, enjoy your first thrilling game drive in an open-top vehicle accompanied by a lodge ranger. Game viewing opportunities should present themselves almost immediately and hopefully you will see several species of antelope, zebra, wildebeest and maybe even giraffe today - as well as several of the Big Five - before dining under the stars in the atmosphere that only the African bushveld can provide.
Day 5 : Mpumalanga

Rise at dawn to take advantage of the best game viewing conditions of the day, as you enjoy a thrilling open-top game viewing drive with your lodge ranger. Enjoy magnificent game viewing, including some of the Big Five - lion, elephant, buffalo, leopard and rhino - before returning to your lodge for breakfast.

The rest of the morning is free to relax by the swimming pool or enjoy bird watching at the lodge, before setting out again in the late afternoon for another game drive. You can hope to see cheetah, giraffe, hippo, kudu, crocodiles, sable antelope, waterbuck, warthogs, baboons and many other interesting wild animals. With over 500 different bird species including eagles, kingfishers, vultures and storks, outstanding bird watching is also guarantee. After a beautiful African sunset, enjoy dining under the stars.

Day 6 : Mpumalanga

Day 7 : Hoedspruit

Enjoy a final early morning game drive, before your transfer to Hoedspruit Airport for your onward flight.

You will be met at Cape Town Airport and transferred to your hotel in this beautiful city, within sight of Table Mountain.

Check in and relax in your magnificent surroundings.
Day 8 : Cape Town

Today is free for independent sightseeing in Cape Town.

We recommend you purchase a day pass onboard the convenient Hop-Off Bus, which stops at all Cape Town’s key sights and beaches. The "Red Route" bus stops at the Table Mountain base station, where you can buy a ticket to ascend by cable car and enjoy one of the world’s most famous views. Continue to Camps Bay beach and the many attractions of the Victoria & Alfred Waterfront.

Day 9 : Cape of Good Hope Nature Reserve

Today we recommend an optional full day tour to the beautiful Cape of Good Hope Nature Reserve, where you may see baboons, ostrich and perhaps even dolphins or whales in season (July/November).

Your tour travels through Hout Bay and along spectacular Chapman’s Peak Drive to the Cape Point peninsula, returning via Simons Town, Fish Hoek, Constantia and Kirstenbosch Gardens. This is a scenic tour of the whole Cape Peninsula, with the optional opportunity of visiting the penguin colony at Boulders Beach.
Day 10 : Franschhoek Valley

Today we recommend an optional full day tour to the renowned Stellenbosch Winelands, travelling through the scenic Franschhoek Valley where a handful of French Huguenot refugees started South Africa’s now famous wine industry.

Explore the historic university town of Stellenbosch and several wine estates on this famous wine route, which stretched from Paarl through to Stellenbosch and Franschhoek. Enjoy a cellar tour and some wine tasting, before returning to Cape Town in the late afternoon.
Day 11 : Cape Town

Transfer to Cape Town Airport for your flight home.
