Day wise Itinerary

Day 1 Drive From Haridwar/dehradun To Sari Village (around 7-8 Hours).

The scenic drive meanders through Devprayag, Rudraprayag, and Ukhimath, offering captivating views of the Mandakini and Alaknanda river confluences. Upon reaching the tranquil Sari Village, check into your guesthouse and spend the late afternoon exploring the beautiful, traditional Garhwali architecture and soaking in the initial Himalayan mountain atmosphere.

Day 2 Sari To Deoria Tal

Deoria Tal

Start with an easy 2.5 km trek from Sari to Deoria Tal, an emerald lake reflecting the mighty Chaukhamba peaks, perfect for morning photography. After spending quality time by the mesmerizing lakeside, trek further towards the Rohini Bugyal/Baniya Kund campsite. This trail passes through dense, beautiful rhododendron and oak forests, culminating in a serene, high-altitude meadow where you will camp overnight, enjoying stunning starry skies.

Day 3 Chandrashila - Tungnath

Trek from Baniya Kund to the summit of Chandrashila, a challenging but incredibly rewarding 5-6 hour journey. Begin early in the morning to reach Tungnath, the highest Shiva temple, before ascending the final climb to Chandrashila Peak. The summit offers a spectacular 360-degree panorama of famous peaks like Nanda Devi, Trishul, and Chaukhamba. Descend back to Chopta for the overnight stay.

Day 4 Chopta - Drop

Chopta

After a leisurely breakfast in the picturesque Chopta meadow, often called the "Mini Switzerland of India," begin the drive back to Haridwar or Dehradun. The long drive allows time to reflect on the stunning mountain vistas and challenging summit accomplished. The journey concludes upon drop-off at your chosen departure point in the late afternoon or evening.
