Kumaon's Offbeat Circuit - Munsiyari - Pithoragarh 7 Days Tour

Day wise Itinerary

• Day 1 : Drive from Kathgodam/Haldwani to Kausani (approx. 6-7 hours).

  Drive through the scenic Kumaon hills, passing Almora. Kausani is famous for its commanding, 300 km panoramic view of the massive Himalayan peaks, including Nanda Devi, Trishul, and Panchachuli. Check into the guesthouse and visit the Anashakti Ashram where Mahatma Gandhi once stayed, enjoying the sunset over the mountains.

• Day 2 : Drive from Kausani to Chaukori (approx. 4-5 hours).

  After watching the famous Kausani sunrise, drive towards the quiet hamlet of Chaukori, a small hill station known for its tea gardens and magnificent views of the snow peaks. Continue to Almora, a historically important, horseshoe-shaped hill station. Explore the famous Lala Bazaar for unique copperware and local handicrafts.
