Package Overview

Darjeeling, called the 'dream land of the East' and the 'queens of hill stations' , has been a popular hill station since the times of the British. Due to its proximity with three international borders, those of India-Nepal and India-Bhutan, this place is strategically very important. Darjeeling is surrounded by lofty mountains, a fascinating place rich in natural beauty. If weather is clear, the Kanchenjunga peak can be seen while down in the valley below flow the rivers swollen by rain water or melting snow. Darjeeling is surrounded by Buddhist monasteries and some of the loveliest tea plantations (estates) in the country.
