Day wise Itinerary

Day 1

NJP Railway Station to Darjeeling transfer via Mirik & Pashupati sightseeing

Reach NJP Railway Station at 6:45 a.m., meet & greet by our office executive and transfer to Darjeeling in an executive vehicle – On the way visit Pashupati Fatak – Pashupati Fatak (India-Nepal Border) also a prominent tourist point for foreign goods shopping - Where thousands of tourists visit every day – Then proceeds for Mirik - Average altitude is about 5000 Ft. The climate of Mirik is more gentle and comfortable - But the greatest reason to visit Mirik is its scenic views with the central attraction as the 1.25 K.M. long lovely lakes surrounded by Dhupi trees on it western bank and a vast garden on the eastern bank. Mirik is a tranquil laid back hill station. There are vantage points from where you can get lovely sights of Kanchenjunga snow peaks and of course the area is surrounded by many rolling tea estates on mountain slopes – Evening drive to the Darjeeling – Upon arrival complete check-in formalities at your pre-booked hotel and spend rest of the day at leisure – Overnight stay at Darjeeling.

Darjeeling Local Sightseeing with Joy ride (Toy Train) & NJP Rly Station transfer

Darjeeling Railway

Early morning at around 3:45 a.m. drive to Tiger Hill, Batasia loop & Ghoom Monastery – Back to hotel within 8.00 a.m. – After breakfast complete check-out from hotel and drive for Darjeeling Railway Station for Joy ride (Toy Train) – Thereafter proceed for half day city tour – Padmaja Naidu Zoological Park, Himalayan Mountaineering Institute (Closed on Thursday), Tensing Rock, Tea Estate Visit, Natural History Museum (Sunday Closed) – Within 4:00 p.m. drive for the NJP Railway station transfer for your onward journey – Tour end.

For Late Arrival / Unscheduled Extensions please must be reported in advance for necessary arrangement and action.
Strikes, Natural Calamity, Landslide, Non-permit – we are not responsible for those things. We try to advise our guest to take no risk and reschedule the Itinerary if we sense any such intention. In such cases guest have to stay in the nearest resort / hotel or lodges. Arrangement will be made by us but the extra cost in actual has to be paid by the guest.
If by landslide, heavy rain or any other natural calamity car will go by different route, guest will be bare extra money for long route.
Vehicle for transfers & sightseeing. Vehicle will be available to guest as per itinerary only (Point to Point basis)
Vehicle booking to be confirmed only after getting INR 2000.00 by cash / fund transfer & remaining full payment will have to pay by cash only in advance before starting the journey. Otherwise we are unable to provide the pre-booking service.
Booking amount will not be refundable for cancellation.
In case the client requiring any changes in the pre-booked service, such changes would be considered as new service. The cost for the new service is payable separately and adjustment with the cost of original service is not admissible. Such extension or alteration of the original service is subject to both HVH and the guests agreeing on the same. In case of any disagreement HVH commitment is limited to the service already booked.
If any tour cancelled because of unfavourable climatic conditions, strike, train cancellation or any other circumstances, in that case booking amount will be forfeited.
These will be no refund for any unforeseen calamities which may occur during the tour.
The Management/Agency/Authority/we will not undertake liability towards any damage or loss of life or any property of the tourist due to an accident, theft, robbery, any illegal or immoral activity, any penalty by caused of activities against civic rule, natural calamities during the tour.
Additional sightseeing or extra usage of vehicle, other than mentioned in the itinerary, will need extra cost and directly payable on the spot.
The guest should always keep cool with the drivers as they are not tourism educated and come from different remote villages.
As there is shortage of space for car parking in the entire Sikkim & Darjeeling region – guest will have to wait at the Lobby in time for the vehicle to start their sightseeing / transfers. Once our vehicle will leave the hotel area without picking up the guests & come back at parking stand then guest must have to arrange their own to reach at the parking stand.
AC may be switched off on hilly routes.
In Sikkim & Darjeeling region the same vehicles will not be providing for the entire tour, it will be changed sector-wise.
If any tourist spot do not complete which falls on closing day & if they wants to do the same on next day then they have to pay the extra cost for the vehicle.
If guests want any changes in their sightseeing schedule they should be informed to our executive previous day before 16:00 hrs, after that no changes are allowed. If the guest inform after 16:00 hrs it will be consider as a cancellation with no refund or guest will pay extra cost for reschedule the sightseeing.
The guests of Innova / Xylo / Scorpion are request to travel with minimum baggage (one baggage per person). In case of excess baggage the guest will have to opt for an extra vehicle for carrying the excess baggage. The cost for this extra vehicle will be pay by guest directly.
Vehicle should be providing as category wise not model wise.
All vehicle rates are subject to change for the increasing of fuel cost.
Rates are valid for Indian nationals only.
All dispute will subject to Siliguri jurisdiction only.
