Today post breakfast and explore Mahakal Temple - The Mahakal Temple or Mahakal Mandir is a sacred Hindu temple, the third god in the Hindu Triumvirate. Sandakphu - The trek along the Singalila Ridge to Sandakphu and Phalut is one of the most popular ones in the Eastern Himalayas due to the grand vistas of the Kangchenjunga range and the Everest range which can be seen from the ridge, and also for the seasonal wildflower blooms and birding. Batasia Loop - The Batasia Loop is a spiral railway created to lower the gradient of ascent of the Darjeeling Himalayan Railway in Darjeeling district of West Bengal, India. At this point, the track spirals around over itself through a tunnel and over a hilltop. Tibetan Buddhist Monastery - There has been a lot of influx of Tibetan refugees into Darjeeling over the years who are mostly Buddhists. Several wonderful monasteries have come up in Darjeeling over time, some date back to 1800s., Observatory Hill - Observatory Hill is a hill near Chowrasta square, or The Mall as it is popularly known, in Darjeeling, West Bengal, India. Views of snow-clad peaks, including Mount Kanchenjunga, are visible from the Observatory Hill. The Bhutia Busty monastery was originally located here. Now the hill has the temple of Mahakal.
