Devkund waterfall is a dream destination for travellers looking for a mix of a moderate hike that leads to a vast space of emptiness. The first sight of this beauty leaves you spellbound by its humongous size.
So where is this beauty located?
The famous Andharban trek starts at Pimpri dam and ends at Bhira dam (Bhira village) which lies approx 150 km from Mumbai. A short 2hrs trek from Bhira leads to Devkund waterfall.
This trek can be done by amateurs as well. The approximate length of the trek is 4.5km which includes a hike alongside the Bhira dam, patches of forest cover, a small water stream, and open fields. There is no big ascend throughout the trek excluding the last 10% which requires a 300ft approx of gradual ascending to finally reach the waterfall.
The clearest blue waters make the beauty of the waterfall unrealistic.

12:30 pm Meeting near Pritam hotel, Dadar
01:00 pm Leaving for Devkund in a private transport
04:00 pm Reach base village. Relax and freshen up. This will b followed by refreshments; i.e. tea/coffee with some snacks.
05:00 pm Reach campsite and set up tents. It’s our first group activity and learning for the new bees.
08:00 pm Team bonding games and other recreational activities follows.
09:30 pm Join us for dinner, where we have village cuisines, specially prepared to bring in a taste of authentic country side food.
10:30 pm Night walk at the village base (entering the lake will be restricted during night time)
11:30 pm Return to base, welcome 2018 with cake cutting and loads of joy.
12:30 am Settle down, it’s story time. Light melodious music, some games, loads of chit- chats and exchange of memories continues all across the night.
05:00 am Wake up call. Another hike awaits, but only for the enthusiasts.
05:30 am have breakfast and start trek towards Devkund waterfall. (Optional)
11:00 am Return to base, have Lunch.
12:00 pm Leave for Mumbai with a bag full of memories in a private transport.
04:00 pm Reach Mumbai and bid adieu with a promise to meet soon.
