Day wise Itinerary

Day 1 : Arrival in Saigon

Arrival in Saigon. Meet our Vietnam adventure tour guide at the airport and transfer to hotel in Saigon. Welcome dinner and tour briefing in the evening. Overnight in Saigon.
Day 2 : City Tour & Cu Chi Tunnel

Welcome to this city is more than 10 million people and a multi-color culture. Because this place is the convergence of all residents from all regions of my country. You will be overwhelmed by the density of motorcycles in this city. If you are involved in such a traffic system then we will not dare try. And with a 1-day city tour, we hope to bring you an enjoyable experience of the transportation and culture of the people here.

After breakfast in the hotel, we take a city tour to see the different faces of this bustling city on a full day tour with extensive visits to the Re-Unification Palace, the Central Post Office, the Notre Dame Cathedral, the Jade Emperor Temple, and the Ben Thanh market. Lunch in local restaurant. After lunch, we drive to the famous Cu Chi underground tunnel system to experience how the Viet Cong lived and fought during the American War. Back to Saigon in the afternoon.
Day 3 : Mekong Delta Boat Trip

The Mekong is an extremely flat land located in the south of Vietnam beautiful country. It’s the center of rice production in the country. This place has provided a huge amount of rice for the total export turnover of Vietnam. On the tour, we only go to a very small point, but very attractive by the friendliness of the people and the peaceful landscape of the countryside.
After breakfast, we depart for Cai Be. Upon arrival in Cai Be, we board a boat for a journey through the town’s floating market. See how river life going on, trading between merchant ships and local farmers. Cruise through secluded canals and over the Mighty Mekong to an island where we stop to enjoy seasonal fruits. More cruise on small canals by rowing boat. Visit local families and have lunch in local restaurant. Take a motorboat to Vinh Long town. Bus transfer backs Saigon. Overnight in Saigon.
Day 4 : Saigon – Nam Cat Tien National Park

07.30 Departure by car to Cat Tien National Park. The terrain rises up gradually via volcanic area. On arrival, we cross Dong Nai River to the park center.
11.30 Check in the room at the park center. Lunch break.
13.30 Start walking 8km along the ecologic route: sites of Lagerstroemia Ovalfolia (BangLang), Tetrameles nudiflora (Tung), Cycas rumphii (Thien Tue), Ancistrolandus tectorius (Trung Quan), Afzelia cyclocarpa (Go). Then trek back to the center.
20.00 Jeep transfer to TaLai buffer zone for animal spotting (view animals at night).
Day 5 : Nam Cat Tien – Saigon

Jeep transfer 9km inside the park to the junction where we turn off the main route and trek 5km to Crocodile lake station. Short break at the lake watchtower. Then trek back to the main route. Jeep picks up, transfer back to the center. Check out. Lunch in the park before heading back to Saigon.
Leave Cat Tien Park. Ferry crossing the river. Transfer by car to Saigon. Check in hotel and relax.
Day 6 : Saigon Flight to Danang – Hoian

Breakfast in hotel and free at leisure until we are transferred to the airport to take a short flight to Danang. On arrival in Danang, we take a bus ride to the ancient town of Hoian. We will check in a resort on the beach and spend the rest of the day relaxing on the beach. In the evening we take a walk in the illustrated ancient part of Hoian and have dinner with local delights. Overnight in Hoian.
Day 7 : Hoian – Bach Ma National Park in Hue

After breakfast in the hotel, we drive north to Bach Ma National Park, which is located in the midway from Hoian to Hue. Upon arrival at the park, we visit the visitor center take a jeep ride up to the center of the park where we have lunch in the restaurant in the park. After lunch, we embark on a beautiful jungle trek. We will walk on animal trails and listen to bird songs and see beautiful waterfalls. After the trek, we take a great jeep ride to the summit of the mountain for watching sunset and panorama view of the park. Dinner and overnight in Bach Ma resort in the park.
Day 8 : Bach Ma Park – Hue City Tour

A short trek in the morning following jungle trails. If we are lucky we would see animals seeking food. Breakfast at the campsite. We leave Bach Ma National Park at 10 am driving to Hue. Upon arrival in Hue, we check in hotel and have lunch in local restaurant. In the afternoon we visit Imperial Citadel, which is a walled fortress and was intended to be a copy of Chinese Emperors’ Forbidden City in Beijing. After the trip, we transfer back to the hotel. Overnight in Hue
Day 9 : Hue – Night Train to Ninh Binh

Today we have a full day tour to see all the “must-see” in Hue. In the morning we will take a relaxing boat trip on Perfume River to reach Thien Mu Pagoda, a beautiful pagoda on a small hill looking over the river. After the pagoda, we continue cruising on the river to reach the Tomb of Emperor Tu Duc, with its lotus-filled lake and central pavilion and the simple and serene Tomb of Khai Dinh. After that, we drive back to Hue for lunch. Back to hotel for a short rest before we catch a train to Ninh Binh. Overnight on train
Day 10 : Cuc Phuong National Park in Ninh Binh

Ninh Binh is a rich land surrounded by majestic limestone mountains is always a highlight of this place. With the characteristics of agriculture have shifted to service, the people are very honest and kind. And they always bring you fun and charity.
This area we have beautiful scenery that is nowhere to be found, it is Cuc Phuong National Park, Tam Coc, Bich Dong. Along with the creativity of the people here has built up a beautiful Trang An tourist pot. Moreover, this place is the starting point for Vietnam's strong and independent country. The Dinh Dynasty was the first dynasty of Vietnam, and start in here in 968 DA.
On this journey, we cannot miss visiting the most beautiful places before we come to the natural wonder of the world the next.
Arrive in Ninh Binh in the early morning. Picked up at Railway Station and transferred to Hotel. We have breakfast in the local restaurant in Cuc Phuong National Park. We will visit Primate Rescued Centre where we meet the park’s rangers and learn about different kinds of monkey, gibbon, and languor in Vietnam. We continue to Bong, the center of the park, where we will have lunch in the restaurant in the center of Cuc Phuong National Park.
After lunch we start the trek into the forest, visiting really old tree which stays there for thousand years or more. This trek around 6km and take us about3 hours.
Day 11 : Cuc Phuong - Hoa Lu – Tam Coc

Breakfast in the hotel before we head to Tam Coc, also known as Halong Bay on the rice field thanks to its stunning rock formations emerging on river and rice field similar to Halong Bay. We will take a relaxing rowing boat trip on the river to see caves and impressive scenery. Lunch in local restaurant in Tam Coc before we drive to Hoa Lu, the former capital of Vietnam, which dates from 9th century. Visit temples and walk a hundred steps up to the top of a mountain for a panorama view of the old capital. Drive back to Hanoi. Check in hotel. Overnight Ninh Binh.
Day 12 : Ninh Binh – Hai Phong – Hydrofoil to Cat Ba

Cat Ba is a preserve the biosphere of the world, not only attractive with white sand beaches with fine waves of silver. It is also an attractive place for travelers to explore and venture. With natural area, including primary forest, limestone mountains with caves and abundant fauna and flora.
With this program, we will experience great sensations when conquering the landscapes and scenery here.
We start this tour with an early wake-up in the morning.
7:00 am - Our tour guide picks you up at your hotel for harbor city, Hai Phong. We catch the hydrofoil schedule at Hai Phong harbor to Cat Ba town in Cat Ba Island.
We have lunch in a local restaurant
In the afternoon we bike on the main road of Cat Ba national park to Military Medical Cave where we keep the medicine in Vietnamese War.
Around 5 pm we back to Cat Ba check in hotel and relax.
Dinner will be served by a local restaurant
Day 13 : Trek in Cat Ba National Park

After breakfast Bus will take you to the center of Cat Ba National Park start our trekking day. Our guide will take care you all the time of hiking for guiding and maximizing your experience with his guidance from what is suitable speed, ascending and descending hills but don’t hurt your muscle to a small tiny technique such as lacing your shoes. That feature classifies us always outstanding from other operators and makes your tour real trekking experience.
We are going to have a long trek across dense jungle of Cat Ba Island to reach the peaceful village of Viet Hai, with a short break at Frog Lake.
Have lunch in a local house in Viet Hai village - the most beautiful village in Cat Ba before keep hiking to our bungalows facing Lan Ha bay where we stay overnight. You can spend the rest of the day for relaxing to get energy back for our kayaking adventures tomorrow.

Day 14 : Kayaking in Lan Ha

Breakfast in the bungalow, then we suggest taking a short biking tour to Lan Ha pier for our full day kayaking in Lan Ha Bay. Lunch on support boat then you keep paddling on Bay. In the late afternoon, we arrive Ben Beo pier transferring to Hotel in Cat Ba.
Day 15 : Cat Ba – Ha Long Cruise

This morning is easy with coffee and breakfast at your hotel before we going to reach Halong Bay by a fairy, the time of fairy leaving Catba at Gia Luan are 9:00, it takes you 1 hour to Tuan Chau pier. We will have 2 hours to visiting the local market in Tuan Chau Island before we get in Ha Long tourist Warf to boarding on a traditional, but luxurious, wooden junk and cruise through the spectacular islands rising from the tranquil emerald sea. Enjoy sumptuous on-board seafood and explore Sung Sot Cave, one of the most beautiful caves in the bay. Witness a splendid sunset.
Dinner and overnight on your boat.
Day 16 : Halong Bay – Hanoi _ Train to Lacai

Early morning coffee and tea will be served on the sundeck followed by a Tai Chi class. We continue exploring magnificent Ha Long Bay. Change to a small motor or rowing boat to discover a floating village. When you return to the junk, a sumptuous meal, combining Vietnamese and Western cuisine, will be served. On leaving the cruise, we depart for Bac Ninh Province to learn more of Vietnam’s fascinating history and culture. At Dinh Bang village, we visit the Do temple. This temple was built during the Le Dynasty and has been altered several times since, the major reconstruction taking place under the reign of Le Trung Hung in the 17th century.
We arrive in Hanoi about 5:00 pm, enjoy dinner before we get on the train to Lao Cai at 10:00 pm.
Day 17 : Transfer to Sapa – Trek to Giang Ta Chai Village

Arrive in Lao Cai around 6:00 am. We will take 1hr bus ride uphill to the beautiful town of Sapa. The driver gives you a glimpse of the stunning vistas and impressive rice terraces. Upon arrival in Sapa Town, we have breakfast in the local restaurant and prepare for a great trek down to the picturesque valley of Muong Hoa.
You will commence your Sapa trekking tour by car to Lao Chai village, a Black Hmong ethnic minority village. You will then be able to walk from Lao Chai to Tavan village where the Giay ethnic minority hill tribe lives. After lunch, the walk continues through a bamboo forest to Giang Ta Chai, a Red Dao ethnic minority village where we will have unique homestay experience among hill tribe people. Lunch in a local restaurant. Dinner and overnight in the local house.
Day 18 : Trek Giang Ta Chai – Su Pan – Thanh Kim - Thanh Phu Village

After breakfast, we start the trek through the rice terraces to the village of Su Pan then continue to Thanh Kim for lunch. After lunchtime, we will trek along a narrow valley downhill for 2 hours to the Ngoi Bo River, then uphill for 1 hour to Muong Bo Village at the center of Thanh Phu Commune - a village of Tay minority. We will have dinner and stay overnight in a wooden Tay stilt house.
Day 19 : Thanh Phu Village - Sapa - Night Train to Hanoi

After breakfast, we walk downhill to Thanh Phu bridge to take a beautiful view when driving back to Sapa. Upon arriving in Sapa we take shower and spend the rest of the day exploring Sapa town. 5.00 pm we will be transferred to Lao Cai for the night train back to Hanoi.
Day 20 : City Tour of Hanoi

After breakfast in the hotel, you will take an interesting guided city tour of Hanoi including Ho Chi Minh complex (the mausoleum, the house & garden, and the museum) and One Pillar Pagoda, a unique ancient architecture. After here we move to Temple of Literature, the site of Vietnam’s first university dates back to 1070. Its peaceful gardens and pavilions offer a relaxing respite from Hanoi’s busy streets. Lunch in local restaurant.
In the afternoon, we enjoy a cyclo tour in the ancient part of Hanoi. Walking down some small and lively street to see busy local market then join locals for green tea
or coffee in local café. Free time for shopping. Back at the hotel. Overnight in Hanoi.
Day 21 : Hanoi Departure

Breakfast at the hotel. Our guide and driver are at your disposal until we transfer you to the airport for your flight home or connect to other adventures in Myanmar, Cambodia, Laos or Thailand with ActiveTravel.Asia.
