Safari Information (Important)
For single seat (sharing) permit, the tourist vehicle charge and the guide fee will be distributed equally amongst the tourists present in the vehicle and will be payable at the time of entry This is Safari information for you
Drivers and guides shall not be counted in the numbers of persons allowed in a vehicle
Key Conditions for Sharing Basis1. Group Formation:You can request the safari provider or resort to form a group for sharing. If no group is available, you may have to pay for a full gypsy.2. Zone Preferences:All members of the shared group must agree on the same zone.3. Advance Booking:Sharing safaris should be booked in advance, as safari slots are limited and fill up quickly.4. Cancellations:In case of a no-show or last-minute cancellations, the remaining group members may need to bear the cost of the absent person.

Safari Timings (Subject to change by Forest Department):
Morning Safari: 6:00 AM to 10:30 AM
Evening Safari: 3:00 PM to 6:30 PM
Exact timing may vary slightly based on season.
Jeep Sharing & Booking Rules
Safari bookings are made per seat on a shared jeep (maximum 6 guests per vehicle).
Guests may be grouped with other travellers for the safari.
Gypsy (jeep) and guide charges are not included in the package and are collected separately at the time of safari allocation.
Safari rides are non-refundable once confirmed by the forest department.
Forest Department Rules & Guest Responsibilities
Forest rules strictly prohibit littering, loud noise, and getting down from the vehicle.
Same government ID (Aadhar or Passport) used during booking must be carried in original on the safari day.
Guests are advised to arrive at the park gate at least 30 minutes before the safari reporting time.
Late arrival may result in forfeiture of the safari without refund.
Safari zones and timing allocations are controlled by the forest department and are subject to availability.
Do’s During Safari
Follow all instructions of your guide and driver.
Wear earthy or muted colors to blend into the surroundings.
Carry essentials: water bottle, sunscreen, hat/cap, and binoculars.
Maintain silence to avoid disturbing wildlife.
Respect the jungle and fellow travelers at all times.
Don’ts During Safari
Do not step out of the jeep, except at designated rest points.
Avoid loud music, shouting, or sudden movements.
Do not litter inside the park — always follow eco-friendly practices.
Flash photography is strictly prohibited.
Arrival at Kanha by noon and check-in at your wildlife resort.
Welcome drink and leisure time to explore the resort or nearby areas.
Evening nature walk or visit a nearby tribal village to experience local culture. Dinner and overnight stay at the resort.
Early Morning Safari:
Before sunrise, depart for your first jeep safari into the core zones of Kanha National Park, accompanied by a trained guide and carrying your packed breakfast provided by the resort.
Spot magnificent wildlife like the Bengal tiger, barasingha, and leopards in their natural jungle environment.
Breakfast Setup (Approx. 8:30 AM):
Midway through the safari, take a break at the designated forest camp area inside the park — such as Kisli, Mukki, or Kanha Zone’s rest points — and enjoy your meal amidst the tranquil jungle atmosphere.
Return & Lunch:
After the safari, return to the resort. Take time to freshen up, relax, and enjoy a hearty lunch.
Evening Safari:
Later in the afternoon, gear up for your second jeep safari into a different zone of Kanha.

Return & Overnight Stay:
Return to the resort after the safari. Dinner and overnight stay at the resort.
11:00 AM: Check out from the resort after breakfast and begin your return journey towards your selected departure city — Jabalpur, Raipur, or Nagpur.

Raipur: 6 hours
Nagpur: 6–7 hours
5:00 PM – 7:00 PM: Arrival and drop-off at your preferred destination.
