The Mardi Himal Trek is a popular trekking route in the Annapurna region of Nepal. It is a relatively new and less crowded hiking trail that offers spectacular views of the Annapurna mountain range, including Mt. Machhapuchhre (Fishtail). The trek route takes you through beautiful rhododendron forests, charming Gurung villages, and breathtaking landscapes.

The Mardi Himal Trek package typically includes the following:

Day wise Itinerary

Day 1

Arrival in Kathmandu (1,350m/4,428ft)

Upon arrival at Kathmandu Airport (TIA), a Nepal Hiking Pvt. Ltd. representative will meet and greet you and transfer you to your hotel.

Activities : Road Trip

Accommodation : Kathmandu Suite Home [ 3 Star ]
Day 2

Drive from Kathmandu to Pokhara (820m/2,690ft)

After breakfast, you will drive to Pokhara, which takes about 6-7 hours. You will stay overnight in Pokhara.

Activities : Road Trip , Trekking

Accommodation : Hotel Kantipur [ 3 Star ]
Day 3

Drive to Kande and trek to Deurali (2,100m/6,888ft)

After breakfast, you will drive to Kande, which takes about 1 hour. From Kande, you will begin your trek to Deurali, which takes about 4-5 hours. You will stay overnight in Deurali.

Day 4

Trek from Deurali to Forest Camp (2,520m/8,268ft)

After breakfast, you will trek from Deurali to Forest Camp, which takes about 6-7 hours. The trail passes through beautiful rhododendron forests, and you may spot some wildlife. You will stay overnight in Forest Camp.

Day 5

Trek from Forest Camp to High Camp (3,580m/11,742ft)

After breakfast, you will trek from Forest Camp to High Camp, which takes about 5-6 hours. The trail gradually ascends through the forest, and you will have stunning views of the Annapurna mountain range. You will stay overnight in High Camp.

Day 6

Trek from High Camp to Mardi Himal Base Camp (4,500m/14,763ft) and back to High Camp

Today, you will trek to Mardi Himal Base Camp, which takes about 4-5 hours. The pathway is steep and strenuous, but the views of the mountains are worth it. After spending some time at the Base Camp, you will trek back to High Camp for the night.

Day 7

Trek from High Camp to Siding Village (1,750m/5,740ft)

After breakfast, you will trek from High Camp to Siding Village, which takes about 6-7 hours. The trail descends through beautiful forests, and you will pass through charming Gurung villages along the way. You will stay overnight in Siding Village.

Day 8

Trek from Siding Village to Lumre and drive to Pokhara.

After breakfast, you will trek from Siding Village to Lumre, which takes 2-3 hours. From Lumre, you will drive back to Pokhara, which takes about 2-3 hours. You will stay overnight in Pokhara.

Day 9

Drive from Pokhara to Kathmandu

After breakfast, you will drive back to Kathmandu through Prithivi Highway, which takes about 6-7 hours. You will stay overnight in Kathmandu.

Day 10

Departure from Kathmandu

A Nepal Hiking Pvt. Ltd. representative will transfer you to the airport for your departure flight.
