Day 1

Arrival Jammu | Transfer To Katra

Mata Vaishno Devi Trikuta Parvat

Arrival at Jammu Railway station you will drive towards Katra.

Katra: Katra or Katra Vaishno Devi, as it is popularly known, is a small town in Reasi district in the state of Jammu and Kashmir, India, situated in the foothills of the Trikuta Mountains, where the holy shrine of Vaishno Devi is located. It is located 42 km from the city of Jammu. Katra serves as the base camp for pilgrims who visit Vaishno Devi. It has a thriving tourism industry that offers plenty of hotels, guest houses, restaurants, dhabas, fast-food joints that fit all kinds of budgets. Free accommodation is provided by some registered trusts in the form of Sarais for the poor. Over the years, a lot has changed, but one should not miss the opportunity to walk through the main bazaar (market) for buying (do not forget/hesitate to negotiate a bit) souvenirs. To reach Vaishno Devi Mandir (temple) the pilgrims have to register at the Katra before starting the trek. It is a trek of 14 km.

Mata Vaishno Devi: Vaishno Devi, also known as Mata Rani, Trikuta and Vaishnavi, is a manifestation of the Hindu Goddess Mata Adi Shakti also known as Chandi/Durga. The words ""maa" and "mata" are commonly used in India for "mother", and thus are often used in connection with Vaishno Devi. Vaishno Devi Mandir is a Hindu temple dedicated to the Hindu Goddess, located in Katra at the Trikuta Mountains within the Indian state of Jammu and Kashmir. The Temple or Bhawan is 13.5 km from Katra and various modes of transportation are available from Katra to Bhawan, including Ponies, Electric vehicles and palanquins operated by 4 persons. Helicopter services are also available up to Sanjichhat, which is 9.5 km from Katra. Vaishno Devi Mandir is a popular Hindu temple dedicated to the Hindu Goddess, located in the Trikuta Mountains in Katra, Jammu and Kashmir.

Our Vehicles will drop you in Gulmarg | Pahalgam | Sonamarg and will pick you up on scheduled dates | time, as our vehicle is not allowed to move in the interiors of all these places

Payment Terms & Methods :

You are requested to drop us an email along with the options you want to opt for so that our consultant can initiate the booking accordingly.

Once we receive written confirmation from all the concerned Hotel | Houseboat | Camps | Resorts we will send you an acknowledgment for the same.

Please note until booking amount will not reflect in our account all confirmations from our end will be treated as tentative and may lead to booking cancellation without any prior notice, if payment was not made
by or before the due date provided.

To secure your reservation you need to make 30% of the Total Invoice amount as an advance and remaining balance you have to pay 10 days before the date of arrival.

If the payment is not received by the due date, we may treat the booking as cancelled.

For 4* & 5* Packages, full package amount needs to be transferred for complete confirmations

Cancellation & Refund Policy :

* Upon cancellation, refund will be made after deducting the Retention Amount.
* Retention Amount varies as per the number of days left before your package start date.
* Refund will be made within 15 working days from the date of receipt of the cancellation.
