You’ll be met and assisted at the airport/train station and be driven to Darjeeling for check-in and an overnight stay. India’s Darjeeling region is a mystical land, set in the Himalayan foothills with lush tea plantations.

Early in the morning you’ll be visiting Tiger Hill to catch a breath-taking sunrise, and the Himalayan Range. Afterwards breakfast can be enjoyed at the hotel, then you’ll proceed for a city tour which includes a visit to the Himalayan Mountaineering Institute (closed on Thursdays), the Zoological Park (closed on Thursdays), the Tibetan Refugee Centre (closed on Sundays), a tea estate, Batasia Loop, and the Ghoom Monastery.

After some breakfast at the hotel, you’ll head on a journey to Kalimpong, a serene city and hill resort situated at an altitude of 1250m. Look forward to half a day of sightseeing at the Mangaldham temple, the Zong Dhog Palri Fo Brang Monastery, and the Flower Nurseries.

Enjoy some breakfast at the hotel then be transported to Bagdogra/NJP for your onward flight/train journey.
